Solihull Tutu Tuesday: A Rainbow of Glitter and Unicorns 🦄✨
Well, darlings, it’s #tututuesday again! And what better way to celebrate this magnificent day of twirls and tulle than with a little trip to Solihull? This lovely little town, nestled right in the heart of the West Midlands, has become my latest #tututuesday stomping ground, and let me tell you, it's a tutu-lover's paradise! 😉
I arrived, of course, in a pink tutu – a dreamy confection of feathers, sequins and frills. It's what I call a 'Disco Queen' style, because, well, it’s perfect for twirling, twirling, twirling to those ABBA classics, you know? Plus, I like to think that a good, dramatic tutu is as much a fashion statement as anything. We should never underestimate the power of a tulle!
My first stop, naturally, was the famous Solihull Unicorn store. You've got to admit, they’ve really nailed it! Rainbow colours, unicorn horns peeking out from behind every shelf, even a little unicorn statue on the front step. It's enough to make a ballerina squeal with delight.
I, of course, did some damage. A rainbow-coloured sparkly tutu – for, well, every tutu is a must-have tutu, isn't it? – a holographic unicorn horn headband (it just completes the look, darling) and a pink unicorn-shaped handbag. They know me so well at Solihull Unicorn.
But my absolute favourite part? The magical tutu wall! They have every style imaginable – ballerina pink, glittery gold, fluffy lavender… even a tutu that looks like it’s made out of actual rainbow sprinkles. Just imagine that one with a Disco Queen tutu, and then throw on the holographic headband, darling. Total look.
I even discovered an adorable little tea shop down a backstreet, complete with unicorn-themed cupcakes and glitter-infused lemonade! I practically danced in there. Honestly, darling, they served me my lemon-flavored sparkly lemonade with a tiny pink tutu for a garnish. Seriously! And don’t even get me started on the cupcakes… a little cloud of delicious vanilla buttercream with rainbow sprinkles? I could eat unicorn-themed cakes every day for the rest of my life. No judgement!
Solihull really is the place to be if you're feeling your inner unicorn princess. From their shops to their cafes, to even their parks - there's an element of glitter, wonder, and magic everywhere you look. Plus, who can resist a little unicorn magic on a day like #tututuesday? No one, darling. No one!
