Tutu Tuesday in Wembley: A Unicorn-Themed Extravaganza
It's Tutu Tuesday in Wembley and let me tell you, the atmosphere here is positively electric! This is the day we unleash our inner prima ballerinas and embrace all things tutus. It's a day of frills, feathers and sparkles, a day where pink reigns supreme and unicorn magic is definitely in the air.
Now, you might think I'm joking about unicorns. I mean, let's be honest, a little bit of glitter and a pink tutu isn't quite a unicorn, right? WRONG! Not when we're talking about Wembley's Tutu Tuesday, because my lovelies, unicorns are EVERYWHERE! This magical creature is popping up all over the place: a unicorn-print tulle tutu here, a sparkly horn-shaped hair clip there - I even saw someone sporting a unicorn onesie! This is the beauty of Tutu Tuesday, it's all about having fun and celebrating our love for all things frilly and fantastical.
Speaking of tutus, the styles today have been absolutely dazzling. We've seen classic romantic tutus in pastel pink and lilac, flirty little frills in a bold magenta, and some absolutely sensational neon tutus that would make even a disco ball jealous. I myself am rocking a fluffy white tulle tutu, it's all the rage these days - with a silver unicorn horn sewn onto the back, naturally! The horn really takes my look to the next level, right?
But it's not all about tutus and unicorns, although let's be real, it's pretty much all about those things. We also have music to keep our hearts beating like a waltz! Some might call it "music to the ears", but for me, the vibe today is more like "music to the twinkle toes"!
It wouldn't be Tutu Tuesday in Wembley without the disco beats. As we danced down Wembley High Street, a booming disco rhythm vibrated through our hearts (and probably some car stereos too!). The rhythm took control and I'm sure some questionable dance moves were had - but all in good fun of course! After all, when a DJ spins ABBA in the background, everyone's a dancer, right? A bit like when you get to see an incredible dancer perform live on stage, everyone suddenly wants to move.
I just love that feeling when I step out on to the stage. Everything is silent - the audience is there to experience my story and be captivated by my movement, with me sharing it through dance. In a way, this is the story of Tutu Tuesday! I hope my fellow fashion-forward dancers and unicorns reading this can all relate - that feeling of belonging, the power of dance and music and those tutu feels.
