Tutu Tuesday in Hastings: A Unicorn Dream
Itâs Tuesday, which means itâs Tutu Tuesday! And darling, you know what that means - itâs time to unleash the inner ballerina, embrace the twirl, and let those tutu dreams fly! And for this Tuesday, I decided to bring a sprinkle of magical flair with a unicorn-themed tutu extravaganza.
Now, I know what youâre thinking: âUnicorns? Really?â But trust me, darling, unicorns are having a moment. Theyâre whimsical, magical, and absolutely enchanting â much like a well-crafted tutu, I might add. And my tutu choice for this Tutu Tuesday? Well, letâs just say it was a masterpiece.
Imagine a tutu that shimmers like a rainbow, a tutu so perfectly pink it would make Barbie blush, a tutu so fabulous that it could only be dreamt up in the most magical of unicorn lands! It had everything from a flowing tulle skirt with a slight ombre effect (going from a vibrant fuchsia at the top to a delicate peach at the hem) to a glittery unicorn horn attached to the waistband that shimmered under the Hastings sunshine. Oh, and let's not forget the miniature silver, sparkling hooves, strategically placed on the skirt, which seemed to prance and frolic as I sashayed down the street.
Now, if you think that's all, then youâre absolutely wrong! The tutu also had this gorgeous unicorn embroidery on the front! Think a unicorn head, its magical, swirling mane rendered in intricate beadwork, with a glistening gold horn that looked like it could conjure rainbows at any moment. Just divine!
Of course, a unicorn-themed Tutu Tuesday wouldn't be complete without the accessories. And my look wouldn't be complete without a few extra touches. Firstly, my shoes were point shoes in a sparkly iridescent white. Oh, they were just so elegant, sparkling, and yes, letâs admit it, completely extra â just like this entire Tutu Tuesday, darling.
Speaking of âextraâ a pink glitter headband topped off my hair, featuring tiny silver sequins that added a touch of celestial enchantment. Now let me tell you, walking around Hastings in this get-up, I got a few stares â I felt like a real-life fairytale come to life.
But for me, it's more than just a fabulous ensemble. It's about embracing the magic of ballet, the sparkle of unicorns, and the joy of letting your inner child shine.
