Tutu Tuesday in Lowestoft: A Sparkling Rainbow of Unicorns and Tutus!

Oh, darling, the sun is shining, the birds are singing (okay, maybe they’re just squawking but you get the idea!), and it’s the most fabulous day in the world: **Tutu Tuesday!** What’s better than rocking a tutu and unleashing your inner ballerina? It’s a magical combination of whimsy, style, and serious dance vibes.

Today’s Tutu Tuesday finds me in the most gorgeous little seaside town in England: Lowestoft! This adorable place is practically screaming “unicorn” with its charming little beach huts, candy-colored ice cream stands, and those cute, plump little seagulls waddling about. And Lowestoft was made for tutus, baby! Think sparkling waves, seaside breeze, and enough pastel pink and blue to make a mermaid blush.

Now, let's talk tutus. I’ve got my pick of the most fabulous options for Tutu Tuesday. From the classic to the more eccentric, I’ve got your tutu-spiration right here. Think fluffy tutus perfect for twirling with a pastel pink ballet bun, whimsical ones in every color of the rainbow with sequined trims and bows (hello, disco!), or the ultra-feminine tulle tutus for the perfect whimsical and sassy look.

But wait, there’s more…

Today's Tutu Tuesday just wouldn't be complete without my trusty sidekick – the one and only Unicorn Tutu! This mythical, magical beauty is my new favorite accessory. It's got that adorable glittery sparkle that practically shouts "Let’s go party!” with its flowing rainbow tulle, silver star details and sparkly unicorn horn on the top. I'm pretty sure this little masterpiece was designed to make people stop, stare, and smile.

I've been spotted all over town. First, I did a quick “Tutu Tuesday dance session” at the beach with the kids, (and their equally impressed parents!). I managed to coax the local beach pigeons to dance with me – those pigeons totally get that I'm bringing some magic to their little world, but seriously, some people can't even keep a pigeon from pooping on their shoe. Then it was a quick whirl around the bustling marketplace where, let’s face it, I stole the show. You should have seen the little kids' faces when they saw me! They practically started jumping around in unison, their own imaginary tutus billowing.

The local bakers were absolutely enchanted! They gifted me a delicious rainbow unicorn cake with glittering frosting and a little unicorn on top, the best birthday cake for someone born on Tutu Tuesday.

Here’s my essential Tutu Tuesday Look:

  • A sparkly Unicorn Tutu
  • A white ballerina t-shirt or crop top
  • Glittery, sparkly hair accessories – anything unicorn related (I even snagged some rainbow, sparkle hair clips with unicorn motifs. My hairdresser, Sarah, thought I was mad! LOL!
  • A dash of pink eye shadow and pink lipstick.

But the absolute best part of Tutu Tuesday?

It’s seeing people of all ages – from tiny tots to grandmas – smiling and getting involved. There’s this beautiful energy in the air, everyone's celebrating, sharing laughter and kindness!

Remember, if you don't wear a tutu, who will?

So, embrace your inner ballerina, unleash the unicorn, and have the most fabulous Tutu Tuesday ever!
