Tutu Tuesday in Great Yarmouth: A Unicorn Dream Come True #tututuesday

Hey, babes! It's your girl, Serena, back with another Tutu Tuesday update! This week, I took my tutu-loving heart to the seaside town of Great Yarmouth, and let me tell you, it was a fairytale come true! Seriously, imagine a seaside promenade overflowing with sparkling waves, fresh salty air, and a whole lot of pink... well, it was basically my idea of paradise! Let's just say, my inner ballerina had a whole lot of fun.

I kicked things off with a fab brunch at the **Pink Flamingo Café**, totally living up to its name, with pink walls, pink chairs and even a pink milkshake, topped with a gigantic sprinkle of glittery unicorn dust! (Don't worry, I got the sparkly dust all over my super fabulous tutu – but hey, glitter never looked bad on anything, right?)

Then, I was off on an epic adventure, which, of course, had to involve a tutu, right?! So, I went to explore the iconic Great Yarmouth **Seafront**. My sparkly, sequined tutu (I'm talking about the 'Classic Ballerina' style, darling! It's totally my go-to – classic and graceful, you know?), really caught the sun. Honestly, it almost felt like I was on a magical seaside runway, just a short distance away from a gaggle of seagulls admiring the latest in tutu trends! (Don't even get me started on the **mermaid-style tulle skirt**, which was giving me serious mermaid-on-the-beach vibes.)

Speaking of mermaids, I mean unicorns, can we just take a moment to appreciate the beautiful **Unicorn Carriage Rides** in the town? Seriously, what's better than a carriage ride with an oversized pink fluffy unicorn? Answer: absolutely nothing! They also have **mini unicorn-themed parades** through the town square on weekends – I might have shrieked a little in delight. (My friend took a video and told me it was the "Cutest squeal of my life!" haha.) To top it off, they sell all these beautiful little unicorn-shaped souvenirs! The most divine miniature pink unicorn plush I could ever wish for… maybe I need one in every shade of pink… what's wrong with that?!

The beach was where my Tutu Tuesday went truly next level. (And yes, I even braved the slightly-too-cold-for-this-time-of-year sea!) I don't even know if you can really say that you've "been" to Great Yarmouth without strolling down the beach at least once... I have to admit, this place is **amazing for taking pictures**. Just a sprinkle of shimmering sunlight and some pretty pink fluffy clouds, combined with the stunning, dramatic seaside scene and that gorgeous tulle cascading around you... *chef's kiss!*

This is your cue to grab a super-duper *sparkly pink* filter for all those IG posts (don't forget to tag me!), you guys!

Anyway, here are a few of the things I *absolutely had* to do for this particular **#tututuesday**:

  • Walk past the iconic Great Yarmouth **Golden Mile** with a killer *tutu*, letting all the passersby see how a real ballerina takes on the beach. You should've seen the faces!
  • Get a fab photo opp. in front of the iconic **Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach**** with my tulle skirt all around me - you could say I was in my *element!*
  • Buy myself some candyfloss!** What is a Tutu Tuesday at the seaside without some candyfloss? I totally took a photo of my **candyfloss next to the shimmering pink unicorn plush**, what a dreamy scene!

Speaking of photos, here's one thing I learnt – **you need to wear a pair of stylish flats with your tutu!** You definitely *can* wear a cute pair of heels if you want, but let me tell you, I spent so much time walking that it would have been torture for my feet! So ditch those painful heels and grab yourself a pair of fun ballerina flats. I got myself some fabulous *pink ballet shoes* at one of the cute boutiques near the pier – I'm gonna live in these bad boys from now on! Seriously, the best decision ever! (Bonus tip, try matching the colour of your ballerina flats to your tutu, because let's be honest, we're all about coordinated *everything* on a Tutu Tuesday!)

Oh, I must also mention that I got a few extra tutu tips for you! Firstly, **never go to a seaside town without a lightweight cape!** Especially when the sun sets, and that glorious salty sea air starts to chill... nothing looks more amazing than a *flitting-like-a-fairy-in-a-cape-while-wearing-your-most-fabulous-tutu* vibe.

Let's be honest, I'm all about looking good, but being comfortable is also important when you're on the go! It's a serious plus when your clothes look and feel great at the same time! (Okay, I know it seems obvious, but my main point is: You need a versatile tutu!)

And remember, a Tutu Tuesday is all about having fun and embracing your inner unicorn (or maybe it's just mine?! Haha)!

I mean, you can tell that Great Yarmouth is all about its fairytale vibes, and my #tututuesday definitely got a magical fairytale upgrade!

So there you have it, folks. Another incredible Tutu Tuesday adventure! This is why I just love this city.

Catch you next week, babes!
