Dearest Tutu Lovers! 💖
I've landed in Vienna, the City of Music, the City of Dreams, and now… the City of Pink Tutues! 😄 It seems my mission to spread tutu love has taken me to a city where swirling skirts and waltzing melodies are part of the very air! And you know me, I'm in my element!
This week, we're venturing beyond the borders of Derbyshire and travelling through Europe on the tracks, arriving at Vienna’s historic Hauptbahnhof in style. I was already twirling with excitement, and the majestic building itself almost made me forget to get my camera out. It was an absolute triumph! The sheer volume of exquisite architecture and historic train station beauty practically begged to be documented in my very own #PinkTutuVienna post!
You wouldn’t believe the lovely locals at the station! They looked on with curiosity as I donned my special travel tutu – my pink checked version with all the ruffles. It’s perfect for navigating bustling stations, and with the sheer amount of pink in it, well, I couldn’t resist. 🎀
I couldn’t resist asking some lovely ladies on the train about where to get the best pastries and coffee. Apparently, there’s this lovely place called “Demel,” which has been a royal favourite for centuries. Can you imagine the history swirling through those walls? Can’t wait to get a taste of Vienna’s decadent tradition and possibly discover a new favourite for my tea parties. 😉
Speaking of decadent, I just had to stop at a vintage shop tucked away in a cobblestone alley. There were absolutely treasures in there – hats! Dresses! Accessories! And you won’t believe this – a gorgeous pair of shoes that practically sang “ballerina”! With their tiny pink ribbon bows and dainty heels, they’re screaming to be worn with a tutu! 👠
Tonight’s the night! A legendary Viennese opera is on the program at the world-famous Staatsoper, and I can't wait. I can imagine the stunning costumes, the breathtaking choreography, and the sheer spectacle of it all! Who knows, maybe even a few tutus will grace the stage, because they truly do belong in every form of performance! ✨
Speaking of performances, let me tell you about the train journey to Vienna! My latest show in Derbyshire was such a smash. The audience seemed to just adore my pirouettes and my little ballet routines with my little kittens (they love being on stage too!) and a handsome gentleman even gifted me a magnificent rose for my efforts – what a lovely chap! My love for dance and its ability to bring joy, is truly a blessing. The applause is almost enough to fund these incredible trips! ✨
I promise to share my Vienna adventures with you all – every step of the way, from exploring museums to indulging in traditional Viennese food, all while rocking the perfect pink tutu of course! The cobbled streets, the grand buildings, and the air filled with the magic of Mozart – this city feels as though it were born out of a ballet performance!
