Pink Tutu Vienna: Post 690 - Vienna, Oh Vienna!

Well, hello there, darlings! It's Wednesday, which means it's time for a little Pink Tutu Vienna adventure! This week, I'm bursting with excitement because I'm in the magical city of Vienna!

The journey here was a complete delight. I travelled by train, which is always my preferred way to travel - there's something so romantic and luxurious about hurtling through the countryside, watching the world go by from my window. And let me tell you, the Austrian countryside is simply breathtaking - rolling hills dotted with quaint villages, sparkling rivers, and fields ablaze with wildflowers.

Vienna, my dears, is like stepping into a fairytale. It's brimming with beautiful architecture, lush parks, charming cafes, and, of course, an incredible ballet scene.

Now, you know I can't resist a little ballet-themed sightseeing, and Vienna has spoiled me rotten. I've been indulging in everything from visiting the opulent State Opera House, to the enchanting Vienna Ballet Academy, which has been enchanting me with its history of training generations of dancers.

I even treated myself to a tour of the city's world-renowned Schönbrunn Palace, with its stunning Baroque gardens. You could say, my dears, I’ve been waltzing through Vienna, savoring every exquisite detail.

A Waltz of Fashion

Of course, no trip to Vienna would be complete without some serious shopping, right? Vienna's shopping streets are an absolute dream. I’ve been scouring the shops for the most fabulous tutus, dresses and shoes to add to my growing collection. And trust me, darlings, there's some truly divine pink to be found!

I'm particularly smitten with the handmade, delicate tutus I discovered in the backstreets, tucked away like precious gems. There’s just something so romantic about finding treasures in unexpected places.

And let's not forget about the local delicacies. I’ve been enjoying every moment of the delicious Austrian cuisine! From the famous Sachertorte (which I had for breakfast...don't judge!), to the perfectly brewed Viennese coffee, to the exquisite pastries - Vienna has my tastebuds singing!

The Magical Charm of Vienna

Speaking of magic, let me tell you about the truly magical thing that happened last night! I went to a street performance of the "Vienna Ballet," featuring local performers who, like me, are passionate about bringing the joy of dance to the world.

They were dancing under the twinkling Vienna sky, with the grand buildings and streets lit up like a fairyland. I, naturally, was sporting my favourite pink tutu - I always bring a little extra sparkle wherever I go! It was such an enchanting performance, and the crowd was captivated by their energy and grace.

I left with a heart full of warmth, reminding me why I do what I do: to inspire others to embrace their passion and joy, however big or small it may be.

Oh, and did I tell you about my favourite cafe in the city, "The Tutu Tea Room"? They've been serving the most delicious tea and cakes (topped with edible pink glitter of course!), and their interior design is inspired by ballet costumes. It's almost too much pink, even for me!

But it’s a place to relax, indulge and, dare I say, be inspired by all things pink.

So, as you can see, Vienna has been an absolute delight. I’m already planning my next visit (with my new collection of pink tutus, of course!), and I can't wait to share all my adventures with you.

Until next week, remember to live your life with as much pink and joy as possible.

With love and sparkle, Emma

PS. I am absolutely thrilled to tell you, darlings, that I have been invited to perform with a local dance company next week, in a magnificent production of "The Nutcracker"! I'm practicing extra hard in my beautiful pink tutu. Do come and see if you’re in Vienna!
