After unpacking my Pink Tutu Vienna luggage (always meticulously planned to match the colours of my destination – it was a pale pink and gold this time!), I headed straight for the Vienna State Opera House. Right by the Opera House, I discovered the most exquisite shop selling hand-painted porcelain dolls – the ultimate girly delight! They had a whole range of ballerina dolls in delicate tutus, from simple silk to elaborate frills and feathers, and each one, simply exquisite! Just what every Pink Tutu girl needs, I say!
Horseback Riding with the Emperors
Now, let's talk about horses, darlings! My Pink Tutu mission in Vienna wouldn’t be complete without experiencing some majestic horsemanship. Vienna's got a bit of a reputation for the royal horses – those Lipizzaners at the Spanish Riding School, wow, they are just incredible! I couldn’t resist slipping into my trusty pink riding habit and experiencing a little canter through the Prater, Vienna's beautiful park.
It was absolutely dreamy, trotting through the golden-leaved trees, feeling the warm sunshine and fresh air on my face – a truly magical experience.
