Dearest Pink Tutu followers!
Well, here I am again, typing away in my Vienna hotel room. Can you believe it’s already the end of February?! The days are flying by! I feel like I've barely unpacked from my last adventure in Berlin and I’m already dreaming about my next journey.
But, for now, I'm focusing on the beauty of Vienna. I can't tell you how much I love this city! The imperial history, the majestic architecture, the gorgeous pastries - all utterly divine. I swear I saw an archduke with a fluffy white dog in the park today.
Speaking of which, my Vienna experience has already included my customary tutu exploration of the local ballet scene. I simply adore the ballet history here – all that beautiful grandeur and elegant choreography. I just have to squeeze in a few more shows while I'm here, especially seeing as there is such an incredible ballet calendar.
Let's get to the exciting news - today was a full-on "pink tutu day" and a dream come true. As you know, my blog motto is "Get everyone in a Pink Tutu" and guess what?! Today, Vienna saw it happen!
My day started with a gorgeous Viennese breakfast – don’t even ask, it was magnificent! They brought out a whole little cart full of breads, pastries, jams, meats and cheeses! I really had to roll out of the hotel room. I think I ate my way through my weight in buttery croissants – no shame! I justified it by thinking about all the ballet moves I’m about to be learning.
Then it was on to the Vienna State Opera – an absolute icon of the world ballet scene. You wouldn't believe the amount of history that place breathes – you can literally feel the spirit of Mozart, Strauss, and Beethoven dancing through the hallways. I can't recommend it enough for an evening out. Even if you don't speak a word of German, the sheer beauty and grandeur of the venue, and the talent on display, will leave you speechless.
As always, I adorned my signature pink tutu (it’s my Vienna-approved "Opera" one - sparkly sequins galore!) – naturally paired with a statement feather boa for an added touch of dramatic flair. I swear, it was like walking out of a 19th-century ball, everyone looked utterly mesmerised.
Of course, a visit to Vienna is incomplete without exploring the fashion scene, and I had to pop into the most glorious shop called “Ballerina & Co”. It’s chock-full of incredible dancing shoes, costumes, and all sorts of lovely frills and ribbons for the ballerina in all of us. The best part – I finally snagged a perfect pink tutu for my “Ballet à Paris” show – absolutely divine! I mean, it's not just a tutu, it's a symphony of fabric and feathers! Sighs happily.
Then it was back to my room for a bit of tutu-twirling and Instagram posting. My Vienna Instagram feed has to look like a fairytale – pink, tutus, and elegant shots of the city - all of it!
Vienna, you really are a dream! You know, I get so caught up in exploring these fantastic cities that I sometimes forget to take a breath and appreciate the moment. It's incredible how a city like Vienna can inspire you in such a way. I just can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Until next week, my dearest followers. I'll be busy with more tutus, ballet, and travels – all in the name of spreading pink tutu joy. And maybe even finding a little time to catch up on some dancing myself!
Love always,
Emma
