This month's adventure took me right back to a pivotal point in the world of drag, and let me tell you, it was fab-u-lous! I mean, itās not every day you get to sashay right into a decade where drag is exploding onto the global stage, and not just on a digital platform, but with real life, live, **breathtaking shows that make your heart beat a little faster!

A Whirlwind Through Drag in 2025!
Landing with a twirl right into the midst of August, 2025 was like stepping onto a glittering, colour-saturated stage. Imagine this - drag was truly everywhere. Iām talking street shows, theater productions, television appearances, podcasts, **you name it! The world was dancing with the glamour of drag, and the whole world was wearing pink. (Just as I like it!)
Now, let me give you a glimpse into this delightful spectacle. Imagine Berlin, 2025. I'm watching a street show where a troupe of queens, all adorned in their most outrageous outfits, perform dazzling lip-sync battles right in the heart of the city. The music is pumping, the crowd is going wild. It was absolute mayhem, and we all know I love a little mayhem! Then, on a hot afternoon, a drag show on the steps of the Colosseum in Rome? It felt surreal. I swear, those queens could make a chariot look glamorous. Honestly, these drag queens truly pushed the boundaries, celebrating drag in every conceivable way! They made it clear, drag is art, drag is entertainment, and drag is a powerful celebration of self-expression.
Speaking of celebrations, what would a trip into the past be without some exquisite shopping sprees? My little heart almost burst when I wandered through London, 2025. You should have seen the variety! A bespoke tutu boutique, thatās how we do! Now, I love pink tutus, but this place was next level. It was filled with sparkling fabrics, feathers, sequins - you name it! And the designs were, dare I say, breathtaking! This place really gave my inner ballerina drag queen the most wonderful, exciting flutter. And you know, **a good flutter never hurt anyone. There was also a whole department dedicated to the perfect āBarbie Coreā outfits and we know that in 2025, the āpink eraā was everything, darling! The amount of tutus, it was unreal! Oh darling, I really do love to shop!

But, before I indulge in the thrill of shopping and entertainment, a quick moment for reflection. In this age of unprecedented success for drag, let's remember the legends who paved the way - the trailblazers who made it possible for the queens we celebrate today. While in the vibrant atmosphere of London in 2025, I came across a brilliant art exhibit. They called it āThe Great Drag Masters,ā a journey through the history of drag. I felt so inspired seeing these historic performances. Imagine, my darling, imagine! In a moment of pure camp, I got down on my knees to salute those brave souls who challenged social norms. From the glorious* Divas of the 1970s to the groundbreaking legends of the 1980s*, each decade left an imprint on the ever-evolving story of drag. This was history on a truly magnificent scale! It's easy to get swept up in the exciting moments we see today, but remembering those pioneers who opened the doors for us all, well, itās an honor, truly. We are eternally grateful for their audacity, for their talent, for their fearlessness!
Itās About Time We Dance!
Of course, no time travel adventure would be complete without an incredible performance. This month, it was back to my home ground, in Derbyshire, England. We hosted an exciting ballroom spectacular featuring an extraordinary lineup of performers - imagine! These local talents were shining, darling. And you know Iām all about showcasing my love of the local talent. It's all about supporting and encouraging each other. My heart just swells with pride when I see that incredible enthusiasm and support, a wave of glitter and laughter that just washes over everyone.
You know, this journey through drag in 2025, a truly pivotal year in our drag evolution, truly taught me something. There is no limit to the heights drag can reach when we celebrate it with all our hearts! We celebrate ourselves, our history, our community.
