Right then, darlings! I’m currently perched here in my pink tutu-fitted time machine – that’s right, you heard it, my time-travelling, sequin-encrusted dream machine! (This time, it’s a shimmering baby pink with a crystal-encrusted crown. So elegant, so chic!). And, where have I landed this month, you ask? 2038, the future, of course! But, I’m not just floating around like a glamorous butterfly - I’ve got my eye on a couple of seriously hot happenings in the world of drag. Let’s go!

Oh, darling! The scene in 2038 is absolutely sizzling. Gone are the days of traditional "female impersonation." The scene has become this glorious kaleidoscope of creativity and self-expression. There's drag so flamboyant and outrageous you wouldn't believe it, and on the other end of the spectrum, drag so beautifully delicate, it could make you cry (and maybe snatch your wig!). But that's the brilliance of drag, darling - it embraces every nuance of fabulousness, no matter what form it takes.

This month, we’re seeing queens like the legendary Queen Karma taking to the stage in full blown sci-fi costumes. Imagine chrome and holographic sequins in all the shades of neon! She's truly a spectacle to behold.

Princess Periwinkle (oh, the names! I just adore it) has been causing a storm on the global stage. I must say, this drag superstar’s act has some major star power, and we are not surprised that her fans span all over the world! You just can’t take your eyes off her! It's all about dramatic performance, intricate, beautiful make-up, and she really owns the stage! She makes wearing a pink tutu look easy. And that brings me to my favourite queen on this particular trip – the oh-so-stylish Taffy Rose. Now this queen has it all! Glamour, grace, and a love for tutus that rival even mine. It's the epitome of high fashion meets high drag. But I mustn't forget the hilarious, sassy Mimi Minaj who takes on political satire with a laugh-a-minute, whip-smart routine. She's all about making us laugh while bringing a serious point to the stage!

Speaking of fabulous, darling, we’ve just come back from a little jaunt around a drag fashion exhibit - now that was an experience! Let me tell you, these looks were not for the faint of heart. A rainbow explosion of color, a mash-up of textures and fabrics – futuristic, neon, cyber-punk styles. Everything was extravagant, everything was bold! It’s honestly mind-blowing the way the kids today push the boundaries. Just like back in my Derbyshire days, it’s all about individuality and finding your own, unique sense of style! And it makes me want to shout "Hallelujah!" The possibilities seem truly endless. You wouldn't believe the fabrics – some created with recycled plastics, some from plant-based alternatives – oh, it’s fabulous, darling!
