Now, if you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know that I’m always saying pink tutus for everyone! They're not just for ballet anymore (although, darling, I do love me a bit of Bolshoi!) They’re a statement! They're a revolution! It’s the universal sign for sass and sequins, the epitome of fabulous! That’s why I'm on a mission to share the wonder and magic of the pink tutu with the world, one fabulous time travel adventure at a time!

Drag In 2045 - A World of Unbridled Creativity!

Well, hello! We landed smack-dab in the middle of 2045, and lemme tell ya, the world of drag has seriously levelled up. Imagine! Virtual reality drag performances streamed across the metaverse! Drag queen influencers with thousands of virtual fans! It’s drag like you’ve never seen it before. Forget being just about makeup and wigs. Drag’s all about technology, artistry, and pushing those boundaries further than ever before. It’s amazing!

The Digital Drag Explosion - More Platforms Than You Can Shake A Glitter Bomb At!

Let’s talk platforms for a moment, because in 2045, darling, it’s about so much more than YouTube! Drag has its own dedicated metaverse! You’ve got Dragg-Verse where queens all over the globe can host immersive virtual drag shows and interact with fans. Then there's Glowstream, where drag queen reality shows like "The Drag Race Beyond" and "Queen Of The Metaverse" dominate the headlines.

And, of course, you still have the classics! Drag channels have infiltrated Twitch and other online streaming services. I've been glued to "Drag's Got Talent", it’s a total explosion of amazing talents, drag is so diverse nowadays. Who knew, back in our own time, that Drag Queens would be coding robots to make sickening drag outfits? I mean, I should know by now that the world of drag never ceases to amaze me, right?

Fashion Frenzy: Pink Is Still Queen!

But amidst all the digital innovations, the heart of drag, the true glamour, still thrives. 2045 has embraced all forms of self-expression, especially when it comes to fashion! And yes, my sweet darlings, pink tutus are still as prominent as ever! Imagine a whole line of shimmering pink tutus, from playful, glittery mini tutus to dramatic, multi-tiered ball gowns! And don’t even get me started on the fabulous headdresses – we’re talking crystal-studded halos and majestic feathered crowns!

And the amazing thing? The fashion trends in 2045 have made drag even more accessible! High-street brands are creating amazing looks! We saw a whole collection of gorgeous pink tulle pieces at Sandro's Fall 2045 line. Then you have Boohoo’s collaboration with “Drag Kings For Climate Action!”, an incredible fusion of vintage styles and sustainable materials. This is what fashion dreams are made of, babes!

London, London, London: Drag In The Heart Of The City!

Well, of course, what's a drag-filled journey without stopping in London, eh? Now, imagine the legendary Drag Den, still thriving with its unique combination of theatre, music and immersive experiences. A hundred years into the future and they're still serving sickening looks, phenomenal choreography, and enough sparkle to blind a diamond merchant!

But that's not all. I’m totally fangirling over the new West End drag shows, it’s a totally unique mix of camp and political commentary. Imagine, darlings! "Snatched In Time," a drag spectacular celebrating women's history told through the dazzling medium of drag.

We couldn't forget about the classic Camden Town, baby! Drag culture is practically in its blood. Every night of the week there's some fantastically bizarre, amazing event happening. From open mic nights to performances in alternative theatres, the energy is insane!

Tokyo's Avant Garde: Pushing The Boundaries!

Well, no trip to the future could possibly be complete without touching down in Tokyo! Now, darlings, this is drag where you can't tell what's going to happen! We're talking cutting-edge design, outrageous concepts, and a love for performance art.

Just to give you an idea, darling, I attended a show by “Drag House Harajuku”. They used LED costumes that changed color in real-time while simultaneously having a real-life drag queen perform and interact. I even took a selfie in a super stylish digital studio - they called it "dragception" but you just can't imagine the level of technology, the drag make-up was next-level.

Of course, no trip to Tokyo would be complete without seeing the latest collections of drag-inspired street wear, darling. The looks! I mean, you've got your kawaii aesthetic meets your vintage style with a modern, cyberpunk twist. I tell you what, you better believe I snagged some of the coolest, wildest pieces in my own time machine!
