So, pack your glittery pink fanny packs and your biggest smiles because we're whisking ourselves back to 2059 for a glimpse into the drag scene. My magical, sequined, pink-feathered tutu whisked me away again this month, and this time, it brought me right to the heart of a totally unique drag universe!
Now, you might be thinking: â2059?! Emma, how on earth did you find a pink tutu suitable for such futuristic drag?â
Well, dear, let's just say thereâs no shortage of fabulous tulle in the time vortex!
Itâs hard to believe that only a few years ago, people would gasp at a pink tutu, right? Well, times have changed, and in 2059, they've really gone pink-tastic! You wouldnât catch a drag queen on the stage without one, even the kings. In fact, the entire worldâs gone pink. Pink hair, pink makeup, pink everything! Itâs like a pastel dream!
I was absolutely thrilled to be right in the thick of it all! I mean, itâs a dream come true for any girl who loves to wear pink, let alone a tutu-obsessed, time-traveling drag queen like myself.
Now, hereâs what I learnt about 2059:

Drag competitions and shows happen around the clock. Even in places you wouldn't imagine, like the bottom of the ocean. There's a show every single day from a queen in a pink-shell bra, surrounded by fish and glowing coral! Who needs a sea monster when you can have this fab queen doing the electric slide underwater, right?!
2. Drag Beyond Borders
I'm telling you, drag is now global, darling! The 2059 scene shatters traditional boundaries. Thereâs a big push for inclusion in every performance. It's inspiring to see queens of every age, shape, and size owning the stage, showcasing their individuality. Itâs truly a revolution in drag, and itâs happening worldwide!
3. The Dragtech Era
Dragâs now gone completely digital, and you know I can get down with that! Shows are broadcast through virtual reality, creating a fully immersive experience like nothing before! Queens can transform on screen before our very eyes, even becoming actual aliens! We are not in Kansas anymore, dear!

Right now in 2059, drag fashion's all about amplifying the feminine, and my, oh my, do they amplify it! It's not just pink tutus, darling. It's feather boas, sequined dresses so sparkly youâll be blinded by the sheer radiance, and of course, the showstopping hairpieces! I'm talking giant butterfly wings made of feathers and crystals, and glittering tiaras that would make a princess jealous.

I spotted one girl dressed as a strawberry sundae while walking her pet sloth on a lead, with the sloth, itself, sporting a little pink tutu! I told ya, it's pink-tastic everywhere!

The highlight of my trip was getting dragged up in the parade myself! Talk about a memorable experience, darling!
