Pink-Tutu.com: Blog Post 1691 – Time Travelling to 2060!

Hello darlings! It's your favourite Derbyshire drag queen Emma, and oh my gosh, you're not going to believe where I've been this month! You see, my magical, oh-so-pink, time-travelling tutu took me all the way to the glorious year of 2060!

Now, I know what you're thinking: 2060? That's ages away! But trust me, it was fabulous! It’s actually been an incredible year for drag, like seriously, drag is everywhere and it's booming, all over the world, which is simply divine!

I jetted over to a sparkling new theatre in Dubai called "The Mirage" - a literal palace of performance, adorned with crystals, fountains and an actual freaking pool! The whole venue was shimmering with holographic lights that flickered between emerald green, pink and sapphire blue. They had an absolutely epic show called "Intergalactic Glitz," where every queen was wearing outrageous futuristic outfits. Imagine a metallic, space-age crop top with a LED-powered skirt, with sequins that blinked to the beat of the music! Oh, and the make-up, darling? So sleek, so sharp! The contours, the brows, it was pure drag excellence!

After Dubai, I hopped over to New York - can you imagine! The Big Apple, in the year 2060! It was beyond bustling. The drag scene is phenomenal, so much so that I was almost blinded by the glitter and feathers! I ended up catching a show in the most iconic, extravagant club I’ve ever been in, with every inch dripping in shimmering gold and pink. It had this fantastic queen called ā€˜Nova Stardust’ who had this dazzling holographic tutu costume that shifted between purple and blue, you know like an aurora borealis, oh darling it was incredible!

Of course, while I was in New York, I had to indulge in some retail therapy! Let’s just say, I emerged with two more pink tutus (never enough pink tutus!), some incredible custom holographic earrings (I got matching ones for Nova Stardust!), and a shimmering holographic headpiece fit for a queen.

Speaking of New York, darling, the drag queen scene is just exploding. Imagine the ā€œDrag Raceā€ season finale! This place was absolutely buzzing with anticipation. Everyone, everywhere, seemed to have their favorite queen to cheer for. Even the man serving you coffee in the local coffee shop! This year, it wasn’t just about the Drag Race, but about the first "International Drag Race" – a worldwide drag queen competition with hundreds of queens competing, each representing their nation. The anticipation and excitement were electric, like being in a hurricane of fabulous!

Now, you're probably wondering, how did I end up in all these amazing places? It’s all thanks to the magic of my beloved pink tutu. A gentle twirl, a flutter of the feathers, and whizz - I’m gone! Oh, don’t get me wrong, it takes a lot of hard work, and of course, my fabulous performances! But hey, gotta pay the pink tutu dues somehow.

Speaking of the future, do you know what’s truly inspiring about all this? It shows that drag is universal! From the scorching desert to the chilly streets of New York, the message is the same: everyone loves a fabulous, outrageous performance, and a little bit of shimmering glamour. It truly shows how drag is evolving, becoming bigger, bolder and brighter! It’s just proof that, as long as you've got that fabulous inner queen, and maybe a pink tutu or two, there's truly nothing you can't do!

Right, darlings, I need to dash - gotta find my magical pink tutu and see where it takes me next month. In the meantime, let’s spread the love and embrace the amazing power of drag. Until next month, stay fabulous!

P.S. Don’t forget to check out my blog next month for all the glitz and glam from my next time travel escapade. Remember, the more you share, the more pink tutus we get out there! We’re going to turn the whole world pink! šŸ˜‰

Love, Emma
