This month, I've chosen to spend a bit of time in 2061 because it marks a pivotal moment in Drag History! The world is starting to truly embrace the beauty of the pink tutu, thanks to a fabulous new drag collective known as the "Pink Posse." Let's dive into what's happening!

Now, let's be real, darling! My love affair with pink tutus knows no bounds. But in 2061, it’s become a global obsession. The Pink Posse is a revolutionary group of drag queens from all over the world, each with their own unique spin on the pink tutu aesthetic. They’ve created a massive movement - think the ‘60s with a healthy dose of "Glitz and Glam!"

Imagine: A vibrant street performance with shimmering tutus in every shade of pink imaginable! Then add synchronized kick lines, breathtaking pirouettes, and glitter galore. The Pink Posse isn't just about tutus; they’ve reinvented how we perceive dance and drag! It's like ballet meets drag meets a sprinkle of rock-n-roll magic! Think a fierce performance in an elaborate tutu, accompanied by a full band with booming bass lines and powerful drums! Imagine! It’s sheer heaven.

These fearless queens are making a splash all over the globe, bringing the beauty of the tutu to a whole new generation of drag enthusiasts. Imagine! You have Drag Balls where the queens come to serve, showcasing the most breathtaking tutus you can ever imagine, adorned with beads, crystals and an entire collection of feathers! A dazzling display of artistry and fashion!

## The Global Spread of Tutu Glamour

The beauty of 2061 is its internationality! You’ll find Pink Posse shows across every continent. My latest trip took me to Tokyo, where the Posse queen, Cherry Blossom, put on a truly spectacular show with a dramatic fuchsia-coloured tutu featuring origami-inspired designs. She was mesmerizing! We even shared a cheeky sushi-themed cocktail in the VIP area, all wrapped in a dazzling pink ribbon! (I did bring some Derbyshire Derby cakes to share in return.)

And that, darlings, is where you and I are heading next month - a fabulous Drag Ball in a sleek and shimmering new drag club in London. Imagine a space made entirely of mirrored panels and lit by a breathtaking array of pink lights. The main stage will be a shimmering wonderland of sequins, where we'll witness the best of the UK's drag talent showcase their most fabulous tutus!

Let's be honest, you're not going to find a truly fabulous, show-stopping pink tutu on a high street anymore. You've gotta have a little adventure! But let me tell you, it's so worth it. My pink tutu came to me from a little hidden boutique in the heart of Nottingham's famous Lace Market! The shop, called 'Tutu Time', is owned by the most wonderful drag queen, Ophelia. She has been crafting handmade tutus for over 50 years! Her shop is filled with rows and rows of beautiful, glittering and breathtaking tutus!

My trip to Nottinghamshire proved to be worth every single penny! Ophelia made me the most exquisite, pink tutu, with an extravagant layered skirt and beautiful sparkly embroidery. I swear I can practically hear my drag sister, Trixie Mattel, crying out in the heavens with glee - she'd just LOVE this tutu. It's just absolutely FABULOUS. And what’s best, Ophelia, being such a true queen, created me the most glorious, dazzling feather headpiece - I just adore it! I must tell you, she is a complete vision.
