Oh, my dears! What a month for ballet fashion! October was simply dazzling with tutus that positively screamed “I'm ready to take on the world!”.
A flurry of tutus
- The Royal Ballet's production of Swan Lake. Oh, darling, those tutus! Pure perfection, wouldn’t you say? The white ones, so exquisitely ethereal! Just the perfect touch of feathers, making them simply breathtaking, all about effortless elegance! Those black ones, just daring enough. The sheer audacity! They set my heart aflutter. I must say, they are a most delightful contrast and the ultimate in elegance and romance. The absolute height of fashion in the realm of ballet.
- The Mariinsky Ballet in London. Simply heavenly! Those glorious costumes, just so deliciously evocative, as though we had stepped back in time, or at least into one of those elegant ballet films. And the colours - divine! So exquisitely rich and perfectly complementing those amazing bodies!
- Anya’s dance festival. Those tutu dresses, oh my word! I just love those tiny tutus that bring that adorable child-like quality back to dance, a touch of innocence for those girls - just the cutest!
Now, as for those tutu collections I have lovingly curated, oh honey, there's something special here for all tastes. It is getting a bit much, isn't it, my darling? The shelves just keep on getting fuller!
Oh! And let's not forget all the gorgeous little programmes. Simply too many to keep! I simply cannot resist those adorable tutus, oh those colours, so full of colour, or such gorgeous designs, and of course the divine ballerinas on the cover!
