Hello my lovely tutu-loving friends! It's Friday, which means it's time for a fresh blog post and a fresh wave of pink-tutu energy! 🎀 This week, I've packed my bags, my trusty pink suitcase filled with my most glamorous tutus, and headed straight to London! 🚄 The train ride was pure bliss, whizzing past rolling green fields and quaint little towns, all the while dreaming of London's exciting energy.
For this trip, I'm channeling my inner Audrey Hepburn, a chic pink tutu paired with a sophisticated, classic coat, a perfect balance of elegant femininity and ballerina grace. London just calls for that kind of timeless style. ✨
London's Magic Begins...And what a whirlwind Friday it's been! I've seen the iconic red double-decker buses zoom through the city, I've felt the pulse of a million stories unfolding on the streets, and I've savored the tantalising aroma of fresh pastries wafting from every corner bakery.
My day began with a stroll through Hyde Park. It's breathtaking, especially on a sunny spring day like today. The trees are just starting to blossom, the air is crisp and invigorating, and the playful laughter of children echoes through the park. I found a beautiful little spot, spread out my pink picnic blanket, and enjoyed a delicious homemade picnic, surrounded by the beauty of nature. 🌸
A Trip to the West End... 🎭This afternoon was dedicated to one of my absolute passions - theatre! The West End is calling to me, and I couldn't resist the allure of "Les Miserables." The energy in the theatre was palpable, the voices were soaring, and the drama was breathtaking. It truly is a reminder that some things in life, like a beautifully staged musical, simply cannot be captured in a photograph. I came away feeling moved, inspired, and deeply grateful for the power of art.
After the show, I indulged in a lovely glass of pink champagne, which seemed only fitting after such an elegant and captivating evening. 🥂
Shopping Spree in Style! 🛍️And no trip to London is complete without a shopping spree! So I headed straight for Knightsbridge. My dear, oh dear, I have fallen head over heels for the most fabulous pink satin blouse at a little boutique tucked away on a cobbled side street. It was meant to be. 💖
Of course, a tutu-wearing blogger can't resist a trip to Liberty London. It's a wonderland of colour, pattern, and style. I felt like I was stepping into a whimsical storybook. My eyes widened with delight as I wandered through their labyrinth of textiles, fabrics, and handcrafted treasures. I couldn't resist snagging a beautiful pink scarf with delicate embroidery, the perfect addition to my wardrobe.
Ballet Under the London Sky 🩰Tonight, I am going to experience ballet in a whole new light - literally! The Royal Ballet is presenting an outdoor performance under the London sky. I can already imagine the spectacle: the elegant dancers twirling under the stars, their tutus swirling in the gentle evening breeze. It promises to be a magical and unforgettable experience. ✨
This evening's performance will truly be the cherry on top of this perfect London day. And it's a fitting end to my week of performing my own ballet shows back in Derbyshire. Dancing keeps me happy, fuelled and ready to spread my pink tutu magic everywhere I go. 💖
