Pink Tutu Blog London: Post #730 - London Calling! 🩰✨

Hello, my lovely readers! It's Friday, and you know what that means… it's time for another Pink Tutu Blog London post! This week I'm bursting with excitement as I've finally made it to London. It was a quick, and exciting journey by train from my Derbyshire home, whizzing through the countryside, dreaming up blog ideas and imagining the endless pink-tutu possibilities this city has to offer! 💖

Let's just say, this Friday's been all about exploring this fab city, starting at the London Eye! 🎡 What a sight! I practically spun right out of my pink tutu from sheer joy at those breathtaking views!

You've probably guessed that I have a whole London Eye fashion concept for my next Pink Tutu Street Style photo shoot - imagine the fabulousness of that! It’s the perfect place to showcase the flowing elegance of a tulle tutu, fluttering in the wind like a pink cloud! ☁️

As I twirled, admiring the views, I even got chatting to some lovely tourists - they thought my pink tutu was "absolutely brilliant" and "completely bonkers"! 😅 Just wait till you see the pictures - my next London photoshoot is going to be amazing!

Next stop was a trip to the National Portrait Gallery. It was fascinating looking at all the portraits, from historical figures to celebrities – I even saw a portrait of Dame Margot Fonteyn - the Queen of Ballet! 👑 🩰 Seeing a portrait of her only added to my inspiration for my upcoming Pink Tutu performances!

After admiring all the artistry, I knew the perfect afternoon activity… shopping! You've all guessed it! Of course, a day in London isn't complete without hitting the shops. My mission? Find a new, beautiful pink tutu! 💕 Oh, and some lovely pink-themed London souvenirs - my travel-savvy friends all have their own traditions, and mine? Collecting pink-themed momentos to help inspire my outfits! 💖

My afternoon fashion foray led me straight to Harrods (a haven for the discerning pink tutu wearer). Imagine… me in a vibrant, swirling, pink tutu… the whole Harrods experience transformed. 💖 Honestly, I even tried on a pair of bright pink shoes, which just screamed "ballet and London style" – the perfect footwear for all the exploring, and, naturally, dancing I did on my London day trip. ✨

Now, for dinner, the quintessential London experience, Fish and Chips, eaten in a local park, enjoying the twilight sky. There's nothing more lovely than the feeling of crisp air against my skin as I sit enjoying my favourite dish! The vibrant pink of my tutu perfectly contrasted with the vibrant yellow glow of the last sunset rays, so a big thank you to this stunning London day for the amazing backdrop to my delightful Friday fish and chips. 🐟

London always feels so exciting! You really can feel the energy in the streets, from the vibrant buskers, the colourful street performers and the incredible variety of restaurants and shops. I just love it here! ✨

Speaking of street performances, I did, of course, have to get my fill of West End Shows. This week I went to see The Phantom of the Opera - it was simply spellbinding! The incredible set designs, the mesmerising music, and of course, the ballet performances by the chorus - it was just pure, captivating theatre magic. 💖 I can already see my own Pink Tutu dance interpretation for the final scene with "All I Ask of You" - imagine! I can't wait to plan that out…

As my day wound down, the city lit up, like a sea of twinkling lights – my heart practically burst with happiness. London really does capture the feeling of pure magic, and that, for a ballerina obsessed with tutus, pink and ballet is just what I need to be inspired. 💖

Well, that’s it for my London Friday… until next week, keep those tutus twirling, my lovely friends!

Until next Friday!
