Pink Tutu Blog London - Post #1052: Friday 2016-10-28 - A Pink Tutu Day Out in London!

Hello darlings! Welcome back to Pink Tutu Blog London. It's Friday, and you know what that means? A brand new blog post all about my fabulous London adventures!

This week I've taken a trip down from my lovely home in Derbyshire, a journey I always adore, to see the wonders of London town. I'm always thrilled to hop aboard the train - something about that chugging engine and the clatter of the tracks makes my heart sing! It's so much more exciting than taking the car.

This time, I've chosen to wear my new pink tutu - it's a gorgeous shimmery pink, with a perfect pouffy skirt and delicate ribbons. Of course, I paired it with my trusty ballet pumps and a sparkly pink top - because, you know me, it's all about that fabulous pink look!

And what better place to debut this delightful ensemble than London?

Morning at Covent Garden

After I arrived, the first stop on my itinerary was the glorious Covent Garden. It's one of my favourite places in the world! The bustling atmosphere, the quirky shops, the talented street performers… It truly feels like stepping into a beautiful and vibrant theatre production.

As soon as I arrived, I was delighted by a dazzling display of flowers – such colours, such delicate petals. I couldn't resist snapping a few photos of my tutu amongst those beautiful blooms.

Then it was off to explore the little shops - from the stylish clothes boutiques and artisan bakeries to the vintage bookstores and antique shops - each one a treasure trove waiting to be discovered. I did have a teensy bit of a splurge in one little boutique – can't resist a pretty frock!

Speaking of pretty frocks, let's talk about fashion.

Fashion Friday!

One of my favourite things about London is its incredible fashion scene. It's truly a haven for the stylish - a city where anyone can embrace their unique flair. This week, my eyes have been on the hunt for some new additions to my tutu wardrobe. And, my goodness, I have been spoiled for choice.

Today, the colour du jour was most definitely navy. Every store seemed to be filled with a rich sea of blue hues – everything from sleek skirts and stylish coats to stunning navy tutus! But fear not, my pink tutu won't be staying at home! A few delicate pink accents and I'm ready to be a pink navy fashion icon.

Of course, a fashion day out needs some sustenance! Luckily, Covent Garden is bursting with delicious eateries - I indulged in a delicious vegan cupcake from one of the quirky cafes, followed by a refreshing fruit juice at a charming little cafe with outdoor seating.

After exploring the beautiful cobbled streets of Covent Garden, it was time for the next stop on my Pink Tutu Day Out!

Royal Albert Hall: A Magical Night Out

Tonight, the Royal Albert Hall has a spectacular performance - the Moscow Ballet! My heart is literally buzzing with anticipation - I'm so excited to be in this glorious concert hall, to soak up the music, and to watch those graceful dancers. I do love watching a show and having my mind blown by something beautifully intricate and visually dazzling.

Sharing my Pink Tutu Love

While I'm in London, I'm also taking the opportunity to spread the joy of tutus, to inspire others to embrace their inner pink ballerina. I was fortunate enough to meet a lovely group of ladies at a park – they were so excited when they saw my tutu, even asking for photos. It's always so uplifting to share my love for the dance and the pink tutu - I think we made each other's day!

As my London adventure concludes for now, I can't help but be swept away by the energy, the charm, and the excitement of this city. I hope you've enjoyed this glimpse into my day - and, of course, it goes without saying - wear a pink tutu!

I'm already making plans for my next trip to London!

Until then, keep twirling and let your pink tutu dreams take flight!

Lots of love,

Emma xoxo www.pink-tutu.com
