Pink Tutu Blog London - #1175

Friday, 8th March 2019 - Exploring the Capital!

Hello darlings! It's your favourite pink tutu-wearing blogger Emma here, back with another post from the fabulous London town. The air's still a bit crisp, but spring is definitely in the air - you can feel it in the sunshine peeking through the clouds and the birds chirping merrily outside my window. This week, I'm sharing all the adventures of my day exploring the heart of London - and what an absolute treat it was!

From Derbyshire to London by Train - A Pink Tutu and A Journey of Style

This morning, I hopped on a train from my little Derbyshire village to London St Pancras, all decked out in a darling pink tutu and a pair of chic Mary Janes - what better way to travel than in style? You wouldn't believe how much joy a splash of pink can bring to a crowded carriage! Honestly, it was like a ray of sunshine for everyone's day. And hey, who doesn't love a bit of ballerina flair on a Friday morning, eh?

London Calling! - Shopping Therapy in Covent Garden

After a quick bite of a scrumptious cheese and pickle sandwich (yes, I'm still rocking the classic British taste buds!), I was ready to conquer the bustling streets of London. My first stop: Covent Garden! You can never have too many beautiful scarves, right? So I hit the stalls, the charming boutiques, and a few vintage treasures for good measure. Found the most beautiful powder pink scarf with tiny little embroidered flowers that I had to add to my collection!

Fashionistas and Footwear: A Covent Garden Afternoon Delight

This incredible market always leaves me feeling so inspired. It's like a melting pot of fashion, music, art, and laughter. I found myself falling in love with the vintage shoes – there were some seriously beautiful boots, dainty heels, and quirky flats. All wanting to join my collection back in Derbyshire, you see!

Afternoon Tea and Sweet Delights in London's Jewel

After all the excitement of Covent Garden, a pit stop was a must. I stumbled upon a little tea room nestled on a quiet street. Imagine: dainty finger sandwiches, homemade cakes, scones with clotted cream, and endless cups of fragrant Earl Grey tea. A perfect London afternoon, don't you think?

Back to the Stage: A Royal Ballet Performance to Remember

This evening, my heart truly belonged to the Royal Opera House. As always, a ballet performance was a must! This Friday, the Royal Ballet took us on a magical journey with β€œGiselle,” a tale of love, heartbreak, and the ethereal world of fairies. It was pure, exquisite grace, and I was completely mesmerized by the breathtaking movements and captivating story. It's these moments of pure artistry that keep me so connected to the magic of ballet.

Finding Joy in Pink Tutus: My Fashion Mission for London

The day wasn't just about me – it was about inspiring others to embrace their inner ballerina! It was fun seeing people's reactions to my pink tutu as I explored London – there were smiles, giggles, and even a few cheers. It makes my heart skip a beat to think I might be encouraging someone to step out of their comfort zone, just like I have done!

And of course, every outing wouldn't be complete without a snap of my darling pink tutu in the iconic London setting. Whether it's by the red phone booths, with Big Ben in the background, or even nestled among the bustling market stalls - each picture captures a little piece of this amazing city.

More to Come Next Friday

Until then, darlings, keep shining bright and keep those pink tutus dancing!

Fashion Picks of the Week:

As a pink tutu loving ballerina blogger, a fabulous London outfit wouldn't be complete without a touch of feminine grace and whimsical charm! Here are my must-haves for a delightful London outing:

  • A gorgeous Pink Tutu – always a classic for me. Perfect for waltzing around the capital in style.

  • Lace-up Heels: These are a great way to elevate a classic London look.

  • A beautiful beret: For a touch of French chic – pair it with a delicate polka dot blouse and jeans for a delightful blend of comfort and fashion.

  • A chic trench coat: Ideal for the British weather. It's perfect for protecting you from the rain (and looking super stylish) – the classic khaki colour goes with anything!

And don't forget a handbag to hold all your must-have essentials

Beauty Tips for the Week

London calls for a radiant look! Here are my favorite tips to feel fabulous all day long:

  • Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate!: For a healthy, glowing complexion, a good exfoliation is a must.

  • Stay hydrated: Don’t forget to carry a water bottle throughout the day! Water keeps you looking radiant, especially after long days of exploring.

  • Add a touch of blush: A soft pink blush on the apples of your cheeks adds a touch of feminine grace and brings a bit of color to your complexion.

Next Week on the Pink Tutu Blog

Join me next Friday for another day of exploring all London has to offer – this time we're diving into the city's bustling theatres, followed by a shopping spree in a secret hidden gem that I'm sure you'll love!

So, remember, every day is a chance to wear your pink tutu and bring a little joy to the world!

Keep twirling!

Love, Emma xx
