Pink Tutu Blog: London Adventures (Post #1183) ๐Ÿฉฐ

Hey lovelies!

It's Friday again, and that means it's time for another Pink Tutu Blog post! ๐Ÿ’– This week, I've been hopping on the train from Derbyshire and heading straight to London! I can't tell you how much I love travelling by train, it's such a relaxing way to get about. Especially when you get a comfy carriage and the scenery goes whizzing past. It's so much better than staring at the M1 and trying to keep your sanity.

So, what did I get up to in London this time? Let's get this party started!

Friday Fun: A Whirlwind Tour of London

I'm always blown away by the energy in London. Even when I've only been there a few hours, I feel like I've lived a whole life! There's so much to see and do, so I was determined to pack it all in, pink tutu and all.

First stop - Covent Garden

First off, it was a must to visit Covent Garden. As you all know, I'm obsessed with the ballet, and Covent Garden just oozes that classic, elegant vibe. I had to capture some photos of my pink tutu dancing amongst the beautiful architecture, it was so Insta-worthy. It felt like a step back in time.

You can't go to Covent Garden without admiring the street performers. They have so much talent. There's buskers with their instruments, incredible artists drawing beautiful sketches, and even acrobats, just like a modern-day circus. You can even watch people getting a fortune told, it's truly unique!

Shopping at Liberty London

Covent Garden is also a fashionista's paradise! From boutique fashion to independent stores, there's something for everyone. I was on a mission to find some fabulous new clothes to add to my wardrobe. Let me tell you, Liberty London lived up to all the hype! The floral displays and vintage fabrics had me absolutely spellbound! They had these amazing printed silk scarves and some of the most unique, patterned fabric for dressmaking. It's easy to get lost for hours in Liberty. I just hope they have my pink tutu on display somewhere!

The Cutest Cafe: Peggy Porschen

To give my tired feet a break and refuel, I found myself in a pastel-coloured haven called Peggy Porschen. You might have seen their amazing pink cake designs online, and let me tell you, the cafe is just as adorable in real life. Everything from the tables and chairs to the cakes and macarons was pink and perfect. It was like a fairytale! They have the most delicious pink floral latte with their signature marshmallow flowers on top, too! If I hadn't been on a mission to get to the next attraction, I would have spent hours there, lost in the sweet and sugary delight.

Afternoon Delight: A Stroll in Regent's Park

Next up was a bit of a change of pace. It was time to find a bit of greenery after the hustle and bustle of the shops. So I ventured to Regent's Park, where you can soak up some London sunshine and even catch some live music in the summer!

After my walk through the park, it was time for a theatrical treat. I'd got myself a ticket to a play at the theatre.

Back to the Magic: Catching a Show at the Globe

I absolutely adore live theatre. Something about a captivating performance on stage just makes my heart sing. I booked myself a seat at the Globe Theatre for the day, which is such a iconic and beautiful theatre with a fascinating history. They're doing this Shakespeare play right now, but you wouldn't have caught me telling my phone about it. I believe in keeping things magical, it wouldn't be right for everyone to know, you see.

London's Vibrant Evening: The West End and its Treasures

You know I couldn't go to London and miss out on seeing a show in the West End, right? This city just buzzes with artistic energy, and seeing a performance on the West End always gives me that "Pink Tutu" feeling. So I spent the evening wandering around and getting my fix of glitter and sequins. And of course, I took a cheeky detour down Piccadilly Circus just to feel that familiar vibe. I'm always tempted to buy tickets for any show I can get my hands on when I see the show listings boards on the streets! I really just love seeing live theatre!

Pink Tutu Inspiration Everywhere!

Speaking of my trusty pink tutu, I couldn't resist wearing it everywhere. I believe everyone should get a bit of that pink tutu joy in their life. It makes everything brighter and just a bit more magical, you see. There were lots of looks of appreciation, giggles and nods of approval from the general public. A few people even said that it had cheered them up - I am definitely aiming for that with the pink tutu mission! It definitely turns heads in the street. You really stand out from the crowd!

Dinner and Dreams in a Boutique Hotel

After the theatre, I went for dinner in this little independent restaurant near my hotel, but the name completely escapes me, you can be sure Iโ€™ll write about it later if I can remember! It was the perfect ending to a whirlwind day of London exploration. The best thing about having your own room in London is you get to wear the comfiest, snuggliest clothes ever while you have dinner in the hotel room and put on a facemask! The comfiest nightshirt, the softest robe, you name it! A London hotel really makes for the most luxurious feeling in the world. I feel like a princess!

Onwards to Tomorrow: Another London Adventure Begins

What can I say, London, I adore you! It's such a vibrant and creative place, always buzzing with energy. Iโ€™ve even got tickets to see some incredible performances on Saturday and Sunday and I am looking forward to telling you all about it on Monday. Until then, happy exploring, dear friends!

*Remember, you never need an excuse to wear a pink tutu! It's always the right time for a bit of magic and joy! *
