It’s Friday again, which means it’s time for another Pink Tutu Blog London adventure! Today, I’m swapping my Derbyshire rolling hills for the bustling streets of London, and trust me, I’m feeling as excited as a little girl on Christmas Eve! 🎉
I always say that travelling by train is half the fun of a trip, and today's journey was no exception. Sipping my peppermint tea and watching the countryside fly by in a kaleidoscope of green fields and quaint villages – utter bliss! 🌿
As the train pulled into King's Cross, the familiar scent of old brick, steaming coffee, and a hint of London charm hit me, and I knew I was home.
This weekend is jam-packed with fun, girly things - and what’s a Pink Tutu blogger without a little London shopping spree, am I right? 🛍️💖
Firstly, a must-do is the dazzling Victoria's Secret shop in Oxford Street! Every time I go, I’m lost in the heavenly scents of lotions and perfumes and surrounded by angels adorned in the most luxurious lingerie. And who could resist a bit of self-indulgence in the shape of a pink fluffy robe? I certainly couldn’t. 👼💕
Speaking of pink, have you ever visited Liberty London? Oh, my darling, it’s a dream! A complete and utter paradise for anyone who loves a touch of romance, charm, and vibrant colours. I found the most exquisite pink satin handbag - perfectly suited for my weekend adventures, don’t you think? 🌹✨
After a delicious afternoon tea (with endless cakes, of course!) I’m ready to hit the West End and enjoy a fabulous theatre show! 🎭 I’m lucky enough to be seeing the musical “The Phantom of the Opera,” a true classic and guaranteed to leave me with goosebumps! Can’t wait to be swept away by the grandeur and magic of this iconic show.
Let’s talk ballet for a moment!
Speaking of the stage, my lovely followers, did you know the Royal Opera House is holding an amazing ballet gala this weekend? A spectacular celebration of classical and modern choreography, featuring the world’s finest dancers. Of course, I’m making sure I’m in the front row, dressed in a beautiful new pink tutu that I’ll be picking up later from the Dancewear Gallery. 🩰✨
Oh, but I wouldn’t forget about “The Little Ballerina”, a charming children’s ballet performance that will leave even the littlest ones enchanted! Such a perfect way to introduce your kids to the magic of ballet! ✨
*“London: the greatest city on earth. * I mean, it’s basically a catwalk! Londoners truly embrace style and confidence - and it makes my heart flutter to see how effortlessly everyone makes their own bold fashion statements. 💅
And what’s more iconic than the red double-decker buses of London? My favourite spot to snap a picture with my pink tutu, naturally. Just make sure to catch the perfect angle – a touch of cheeky charm never hurt anyone, right? 😜
I love wandering around the famous Covent Garden. Such an abundance of vibrant stalls selling unique jewellery, homemade soaps, delicious fresh food, and even some sweet, fluffy pink marshmallow creations (my absolute weakness)! 🍬💖
London is all about finding the perfect mix of history, culture, and urban excitement, and there’s no place like it. This evening, I'll be strolling through Kensington Gardens.
It's always a serene and magical experience. The scent of blooming flowers and the laughter of children playing are the perfect soundtrack for an evening filled with wanderlust.
