#PinkTutuBlogLondon – Friday 2021-06-11 – London Calling!
Hello darlings! It’s Friday, which means it’s time for a fresh #PinkTutuBlogLondon post, straight from the heart of London town! I’m Emma, your favourite tutu-loving, pink-obsessed ballerina, and today, I’m all about the wonders of the city. This week I've been in the throes of a whirlwind of rehearsals and performances. It’s so much fun bringing joy to audiences, especially when I get to wear my latest, shimmering, pink tutu, but I do so love a break to explore.
This Friday I’m in the mood for a full-blown London adventure, and since I’m all about living the pink life, we’re going to do it in style, my darlings. Today’s the day! We're boarding the train and heading to London! It’s always so much fun to get away from Derbyshire and experience the magic that is London, especially when I get to explore in a pink tutu.
Train Travel in StyleTrains! There’s just something about hopping on a train. Perhaps it’s the journey, perhaps the thrill of a change of scenery. Either way, I adore the experience. Of course, when travelling by train, style is never out of the question. Today, my tutu is a glorious pastel pink, complete with swathes of delicate tulle that swirl beautifully as I walk along the platform, and my favourite blush pink blazer adds a touch of chic. As always, pink heels are a must-have!
Today’s destination: London Victoria Station. A truly spectacular space that captures the essence of the city’s grandeur. London has a magnetic energy, and I’m excited to embrace it with all the gusto a tutu-wearing ballerina can muster. My heart is ready to beat with the rhythm of the city!
Shopping at The Pink ParadiseFirst up, the pink mecca of all pink meccas - Liberty London! You know me and my love for all things pink. You'd be hard pressed to find someone more enthusiastic about the colour. Today, Liberty was practically a pink paradise. Every colour, from the most delicate blush to a bright bubblegum, is there for you to discover, and oh darling, let me tell you, I am ready to discover! I swear, just walking through the doors makes me feel like a princess in a magical fairytale. You’ve got to go see it for yourself. The moment you step inside, it's impossible not to feel inspired.
I am on the hunt for a new blush-pink beret, and a pale pink silk scarf, just the perfect addition to my pink wardrobe, wouldn't you agree? Shopping in London can get a little overwhelming, so a spot of afternoon tea in a chic café with a lovely pink macaroon, of course, is in order. It is after all, about embracing the little things in life!
Ballet Love in London: Onstage and OffIt's not just shopping that keeps my heart beating. Today’s my lucky day. I get to catch a live ballet performance - and I wouldn’t have it any other way. What can I say, my darlings, the love for the art form is deep, deep, deep! A chance to let loose in the theatre and just dance, it’s just about the most magical thing I can imagine. This time I’m indulging in The Royal Ballet's latest masterpiece. You can find me right at the back, a vision in my light-pink tulle tutu. My pink ballerina heart, soaring to new heights of inspiration, this is the true joy of being a tutu-wearing ballerina. The artistry of dance is the soul of the city. It’s everything I live for, and that includes every fabulous costume change.
The ballet takes my breath away, and there’s a part of me that longs to be up there on that stage, my own ballet shoes making that clickity-clack as I grace the wooden floor. A bit of ballet is all you need for a dose of inspiration!
The Beauty of London in PinkI know, London can seem like a massive city, but there’s something very special about discovering those small corners of beauty within it. This is the London I adore. This time, we’re taking a romantic stroll around Kew Gardens, a stunning oasis of green, pink, and blue and, of course, a gorgeous space to see beautiful blossoms and to feel connected to nature’s magical wonders. Kew Gardens are so beautiful, it almost takes my breath away, like it is all a part of some dream! I would wear a hot pink, flowy dress, to make the perfect photo shoot amongst the lovely flowers. There's an absolute joy to it, don't you think?
Of course, the most essential element of a day in London: a pink cupcake. Or a pink cupcake and a scone. Oh oh oh! If you know me, you know that pink is not a suggestion, but a life requirement!
This day is pure magic, pure London, and just pure, happy fun! London has something for everyone and I just feel completely in love with the energy, and I don’t just mean that in a good way either, my dear!
Pink Tutu London: Week 11 London Post: #1293What makes my London trip a #PinkTutuBlogLondon classic? The train trip, of course, the ballet performance (nothing better) and the pink cupcakes ! That’s the joy of being a ballerina and a blogger who loves to live life in pink. Oh my dear readers, if there's one thing I hope for today, it’s to inspire you to wear your own personal version of a pink tutu! Go forth with your inner joy, you beautiful people.
And what are the plans for next week? Well, I’m not going to give you all the secrets, I will just say, I’ll be indulging in more beautiful art experiences, exploring all that London has to offer, maybe trying some pink cocktails, maybe getting more fabulous photos for my social media channels, and all with the perfect dose of pink! I know that, even though my heart belongs to Derbyshire, there’s no place like London for that ultimate blend of art, dance, and of course, my favorite colour: pink!
And before I leave you with a sweet pink wave and an even sweeter good-bye, don’t forget to check back next week for a whole new edition of #PinkTutuBlogLondon! I have a feeling this is going to be the best one yet, full of adventures and pink.
I can’t wait to share more about my London life and all the inspiring places it has to offer next week, and I am sure it is going to be a fabulous day! Until then, be kind, be sweet, be true, and be bold, darling! And remember, the power of a pink tutu can change the world.
See you next Friday!
With pink and love,
Emma
