The city's already buzzing with energy, even before I've had my morning cappuccino. As I gaze out my window, the terracotta rooftops sparkle under the winter sun, and a chorus of car horns fills the air - such a melodious symphony of urban life!
Today's Milan adventure is all about embracing the kaleidoscope of colours and captivating artistry that this magnificent city offers. But before we embark on our stylish escapades, let's catch up on the latest pink-tutu happenings...
Flashback to Derbyshire
Oh, Derbyshire! The gentle rolling hills, the crisp air, and the quaint, little villages - my heart always belongs to you.
I spent a weekend in my Derbyshire home, where a beautiful new dance studio, "Dancin' Delights", has opened. They invited me to judge their annual "Tutu Tuesday" competition. A group of talented dancers - both boys and girls - wore a rainbow of pink tutus and took to the stage with such exuberance!
There was an absolutely darling little ballerina who, at only four years old, donned a beautiful cerise-coloured tutu. Her delicate little face was shining with the joy of dancing, and I swear I saw her twirl in slow-motion. It was pure magic.
And yes, you guessed it - there was even a little boy who joined in, twirling with the most adorable little blush pink tutu you ever did see! It was clear that my pink tutu mission - to have the world in a tutu - is spreading like wildfire.
It warmed my heart to see so many young aspiring ballerinas embrace the magic of pink tutus. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and their love for dance simply radiated through the air. I think I may have started a small-scale pink tutu revolution right there in Derbyshire.
Back to the Big City:
Back in Milan, the energy of the city is almost tangible, like a delicious, freshly baked croissant you just want to sink your teeth into.
It's hard to believe it's only Wednesday, as the past week has been a whirlwind of ballet classes, fabulous shows, and delightful fashion discoveries.
Speaking of shows, tonight is a special night for the Italian Ballet Company at La Scala! I can't tell you how excited I am to see "Giselle." It's one of my all-time favourite ballets, and I have no doubt that it's going to be an extraordinary experience.
This evening, I'm sporting my signature pink tutu, of course, paired with a tailored black blazer for a touch of elegance, and a pair of ruby red heels for a pop of bold colour. My new Italian bag - made of the most exquisite velvet and featuring a stunning coral-coloured lining - will complete the look.
The theatre in Milan is truly special - think ornate architecture, gold-leaf accents, and grand velvet curtains. It's a timeless space where the magic of ballet truly comes alive.
Shopping Spree!
But my love for Milan extends far beyond ballet. This city is a haven for a fashionista like me! From vintage boutiques tucked away in cobbled alleyways to designer flagship stores glittering under the midday sun, Milan's shopping scene is unmatched.
This afternoon, I'm indulging in a little retail therapy, browsing the latest collections and hunting down the perfect pink scarf for a touch of femininity. It wouldn't be a Milan shopping adventure without a stop at "Atelier del Tocco", a boutique specializing in bespoke fabrics - imagine shimmering silks, playful velvet, and even luxurious feather boas.
Then, after I've had my fill of fabrics, it's off to "Le Marche", Milan's vibrant open-air market, for some irresistible finds. You never know what treasure you might stumble upon: a vintage tutu, a sparkling pair of ballet flats, or a silk scarf with a touch of Italian flair.
A Trip on the Tram
Milan is a city you can easily explore by foot, but one of my favourite things to do is to hop on a tram. I love the charming jingle of the tram bells, the way the sunlight spills in through the windows, and the sense of being swept up in the daily rhythm of the city.
As the tram winds its way through the narrow streets, I observe the bustling scenes of everyday life, watching elegant Milanese women, with their impeccably-styled hair and bright scarves, stepping onto the tram, businessmen carrying briefcases, and a group of teenage girls chatting excitedly in a whirlwind of laughter.

And speaking of Italy, no visit to this exquisite city would be complete without indulging in its delectable cuisine. From creamy cappuccinos in bustling cafes to mouthwatering plates of pasta carbonara, Milan offers an explosion of flavour in every bite.
I'm so excited for a late-night dinner with my dear friend, Gianna, at "Il Ristorante Del Lago." The menu is a feast for the eyes and the palate, featuring fresh seafood, delectable meats, and an endless supply of Italian wines. It's a truly authentic Italian experience.
Living my Best Life
So here I am in Milan, living my best ballerina life. Every day is an adventure, filled with exciting performances, elegant shopping excursions, and a touch of Italian charm. And most importantly, it's a chance to inspire others to embrace the joy of pink tutus and let their inner ballerina shine through.
