I just adore this city - it’s all about fashion, design, and culture! I think every girl who loves ballet should visit Milan, it’s just oozing with elegance and glamour. Plus, who wouldn't want to be surrounded by beautiful shoes? 😉
A Pink Tutu for the Fashion Capital
And you know what? Milan is a place where even wearing my pink tutu feels perfectly at home! They appreciate style here, whether it’s on the catwalk, in a gallery, or even in a simple tram.
Speaking of which, I had the most delightful experience riding the tram through the city today. Imagine, my pink tutu swishing about as we zipped past gorgeous buildings! All the locals stared, some even smiling and giving me a nod - and that’s a feeling of joy that's hard to beat, especially for a Derbyshire girl like me!
Finding Magic in Milan
But the best part? I'm not just in Milan for sightseeing; it's for a performance! I'm so excited, I feel like I'm on cloud nine. You see, I’m here performing in a magical production at the Teatro alla Scala! I love the excitement and energy in the air. This beautiful opera house has a special place in history - they’ve hosted some of the world's most famous ballerinas, and now, me!

A Taste of Milan: Food & Fashion
Of course, I couldn’t resist indulging in a little Milanese shopping, which involved many pairs of shoes (but who's counting?!) - I’m so tempted to fill my suitcase with designer tutus…
The other thing Milan is known for, is it’s food - and trust me, it lives up to the hype! Tonight, I’m enjoying an incredible dinner in a tiny cafe near the Teatro, nestled in one of the historic laneways. My meal was delicious - think fragrant cheeses, fresh pasta, and the most succulent lamb! It’s simply perfection and the ambiance here, with the twinkling lights and soft music, makes me feel like I've walked into a scene from a movie!
A Pink Tutu World
