Milan in Pink: This city is bursting with colour and energy, and let me tell you, it was practically made for twirling. And twirl I did, every step of the way! You know how much I love pink. I was practically a living embodiment of a cherry blossom in a full-blown bloom! (I mean, come on, imagine a delicate pink tutu in the heart of Milan! 🩰) I even got a cheeky pic taken in front of the Duomo, my tulle twirling like a joyful ballet dancer against that iconic backdrop!
Teatro alla Scala: A Breathtaking Spectacle! Last night, I felt the thrill of being back at the iconic Teatro alla Scala! There’s simply nothing like that atmosphere, the excitement crackling through the air, the velvet seats sinking beneath you, and the anticipation for the curtain to rise… I can still feel the echoes of the music in my bones, the grace of the dancers. My heart truly skipped a beat. I love seeing classic ballets, and it’s impossible not to be drawn in by the passion of the dancers. Their bodies become stories woven in motion, a true testament to art. ✨ They just leave me yearning to spin on stage, my own tutu swirling in the spotlights!
My Little Pink Ballet Box: Speaking of twirling on stage, I have a confession! The Teatro alla Scala inspires me so much that this week I treated myself to a new dance bag. It’s a soft pink canvas tote, large enough for all my ballet paraphernalia! Now I have even more pink to pack around and I can even match the interiors to the rest of my outfits! 👛🩰
Tram Adventures: I’m totally in love with the tram system here! You know how much I adore exploring by train and tram; the way those metal carriages rumble along the streets is pure magic. It's my personal transport through the urban jungle, offering a view of all the stylish shops and cafes! 🚊
Fashion Inspiration: This city oozes with sartorial style, making every corner feel like a runway show! So much so that I practically wanted to pop into every shop, admire every detail and feel every luxurious fabric! 👠 There's something in the air here that sets fashionistas’ hearts on fire, especially mine!
Street Performance Dreams: In a stunning display of raw talent, a group of street dancers performed on a busy square the other day. Their rhythm was so compelling; you could feel the beats pounding right through the cobbles. The sheer skill, passion and grace of their moves… wow! I can’t wait to channel their spirit onto my own stages. 💃
The Sweetest Treats: No trip to Italy would be complete without delicious treats! Indulging in the mouthwatering pastries, enjoying freshly brewed cappuccinos in cozy cafes - these simple pleasures bring pure joy. They remind me that there’s beauty and deliciousness to be found in every corner, every moment. 🇮🇹☕
