This week, I've found myself on a thrilling Italian ballet journey, leaving behind the charming green valleys of Derbyshire to explore the elegant architecture and captivating art of Milan. It's an incredible experience! I flew into Malpensa Airport this Monday morning, the air filled with the anticipation of a new adventure. My heart, naturally, began to thump with a distinct ballet beat, ready to absorb every cultural moment. I had already mapped out my journey, complete with designated times for tutu twirling sessions and photo opportunities in front of the grand Milan Cathedral. My trusty suitcase, of course, held my favourite pink tutu and other ballet-inspired outfits - it was time to take this Italian adventure by storm!
Discovering Milan with a Tutu Twist
Upon arriving at the airport, the familiar sights and sounds of the tram journey into the city centre painted a delightful picture for me. The graceful curves of the buildings, the buzz of the city life, and the scent of freshly baked bread (all essential for any tutu-wearing ballerina!) were exhilarating.
