It’s been a whirlwind of pink, sequins, and… yes, even more pink! 😉

Oh, and how could I forget? Today’s special date? 2021-10-27. This magical day holds a particular significance for us ballet lovers! I’m still buzzing from last night’s exquisite performance of "La Traviata" at Teatro alla Scala. The opera house, with its intricate architecture and rich history, provided the perfect backdrop for this stunning production. As always, the emotions and stories of the ballet danced across the stage, completely capturing my heart and imagination!
And if there's one thing I love more than ballet, it’s exploring charming cafes! (Perhaps that’s a close tie with the pink tutus, after all…). Today’s morning escape was a sweet little cafe nestled amongst a labyrinth of cobblestone streets. I couldn't resist a beautifully crafted cappuccino and a slice of "panna cotta," a classic Italian dessert that I’m obsessed with! 😋
But let’s get back to the excitement! Milan's a veritable fashion paradise, offering endless opportunities for me to indulge in a little shopping spree. (Shhhh… don't tell anyone, but I found a stunning new tutu on Via Montenapoleone yesterday! Can you even imagine? 🤩) It's always such a treat to stumble across quirky boutiques tucked away in little corners of the city.
But Milan’s fashion game isn’t just confined to high-end designers. The streets themselves are overflowing with artistic flair! This week, I’ve had so much fun discovering captivating street art. Think vivid murals bursting with colour, murals paying homage to the city’s rich history, and even a street ballet performance – I’ll tell you more about it in a moment. But let me just say, there are no limits when it comes to finding inspiration in Milan!
Speaking of inspiration, let me tell you about the extraordinary dance piece that stole my heart. It wasn't on a grand stage with fancy sets, but right here in the heart of the city, a street corner where young artists were transforming concrete into a vibrant stage! It was breathtaking – the raw energy, the captivating dance, and the joyous celebration of movement. These dancers had something magical. You see, they truly embraced the idea of dance as a universal language, connecting with everyone who passed by! They brought joy to the mundane, a testament to the boundless power of the art form!

To end the day, there’s nothing quite like exploring the heart of the city. The gentle sounds of the tram and train lines, their rhythmic hum a delightful backdrop to a peaceful walk. My day, just like my week, has been filled with artistic wonder.
