Monday mornings always feel extra special in New York. It's a brand new week, bursting with possibilities. Today, after a lovely English breakfast (a touch of home in the Big Apple), I began the day with a glorious ballet class in the heart of the city. The energy in that studio was incredible, every dancer moving with such passion and precision. I felt so inspired!

My afternoon was all about experiencing the magical world of Broadway, and oh, what a treat! I got to see “The Phantom of the Opera”, a truly spellbinding spectacle. The music, the costumes, the sheer drama of it all - pure enchantment. It’s amazing how even a classic like “Phantom” feels fresh and exciting, especially in a setting as iconic as the Majestic Theatre.
Of course, no day in New York City is complete without a spot of shopping! I hit Fifth Avenue for some afternoon retail therapy, finding some delightful pieces that will perfectly complement my ballet-inspired wardrobe. The shop windows are always so incredibly captivating, like miniature works of art, showcasing the season’s trends. And can we talk about the energy on the street? It's vibrant, chaotic, exciting - I could get lost in this urban jungle for hours.

Remember, my darlings, even though I’m in a glamorous city, it doesn’t mean I have to break the bank! I keep my spending in check by taking the Metro wherever possible – a quick, efficient, and cost-effective way to get around this bustling city. It also gives you a unique perspective on New York, passing by everyday people, iconic landmarks, and fascinating street scenes. I’ve always got my trusty pink tutu on me, ready to add a pop of colour and joy to any ride!
Dining Delight: Pink Cocktails and Delicious Bites
Tonight, after my Broadway adventure, I dined at the Chez Antoinette restaurant in Chelsea, known for its enchanting décor and delightful French cuisine. I indulged in the delectable lobster bisque, a pink-tinted masterpiece of culinary delight. And, for a touch of decadence, a raspberry sorbet cocktail – the perfect way to end my Monday evening in style.
