Can you believe it’s already May? Spring is in full bloom here, and I’m positively buzzing with excitement. A Derbyshire Lass In The City That Never Sleeps
Now, I’m a Derbyshire lass at heart, so it's quite a contrast to be surrounded by towering skyscrapers and the endless energy of New York. But the energy here is contagious, it’s got me swirling like a ballerina on pointe. And just like in my beloved Derbyshire countryside, I'm constantly finding little hidden gems in this urban jungle, secret gardens tucked away, charming cafes with delicious scones and, of course, the best fashion stores that a girl could dream of!

Speaking of dreams, I spent last weekend at the New York City Ballet, experiencing a symphony of swirls that left me utterly spellbound. The dancers, oh my! Their grace, their strength, their sheer passion on stage was breathtaking. I found myself lost in the ethereal world of their performance, a world of intricate choreography and heartfelt storytelling, all set to music that resonated deeply with my soul.
