Helloooo my lovely Pink Tutu People! I hope you're all doing well. I can't believe it's May already - how on earth did that happen?! I am in my beloved New York, as you know. The city that never sleeps is absolutely buzzing with energy, so I decided it was time to catch up on everything going on - starting, of course, with the theatre!

You guys know I'm a complete ballet nut. My heart beats for those beautiful leaps, elegant spins and flowing tutus. I feel truly at home when I'm surrounded by dancers, lost in the magic of their artistry. This week I got to indulge myself in a glorious production at the American Ballet Theatre - "Giselle". Oh, it was divine! I sat there with my eyes wide and a big smile plastered on my face, mesmerized by the talent on stage. The dancers were utterly captivating - their movements, their emotions, everything! The story was so romantic, I swear I even shed a tear or two. If you ever get the chance to see "Giselle", snatch it up like a sugarplum fairy on payday!

Of course, what would a visit to New York be without a bit of fashion indulgence? I popped into a few of my favourite stores for a bit of a splurge - it’s no secret I have a bit of a soft spot for the latest trends and a great love for shopping in vintage stores. You just never know what gems you might discover! I found this absolutely beautiful pink tulle dress - perfect for a twirl (naturally!) - at a quaint little boutique in Greenwich Village. I also treated myself to a pair of these adorable silver glitter heels. Honestly, the entire experience just screams "pink tutu glamour", don't you think?

Speaking of glitz and glamour, let's talk about that "extra" you bring to the game with some new nail art, right? It just makes me happy to walk around with perfectly pink nails that really sparkle. The latest design is absolutely lovely, just like the perfect ballerina shoes! As amazing as New York is, even I need a break sometimes, so I decided to head up to Central Park and escape the bustling crowds. Oh, what a joy it was! To simply stroll under the canopy of trees, listening to birds chirping and feeling the breeze against my skin was such a wonderful break from the city’s relentless energy. It felt truly magical, like I’d stepped into one of those romantic ballet stories you dream of!

After that relaxing stroll through the park, I hopped onto the metro - and trust me, you guys, there's no more thrilling way to see a city! I absolutely love riding the subway - the hustle and bustle, the diverse crowd, the fascinating graffiti art on the walls, it’s all a huge adventure. I never know what kind of people I’m going to encounter - it's always an experience! My tip is to always pick the one with the coolest soundtrack - my latest favorite is that jazzy one. Makes me want to bust out some of my best dance moves, but let’s just keep that secret!

I wouldn't be a proper "Pink Tutu" if I didn't indulge in some local New York culinary delights, would I? After a long day of shopping and ballet, there's nothing more rewarding than a juicy hotdog from a street vendor - especially the ones with mustard! The tangy zing of that mustard complements the savoury hotdog perfectly, and then the combination creates an explosion of deliciousness in your mouth - I am such a fan! The best part? It’s the ultimate affordable and delicious experience - and a must try, truly!

Now, no visit to New York would be complete without indulging in a classic slice of cheesecake - I adore those smooth and velvety bites. It's not just a dessert; it's a culinary masterpiece! Of course, a lovely cup of hot chocolate in a vintage china mug in a cozy cafe just rounds out that feeling of complete satisfaction after a good day.

It was quite an amazing weekend! Filled with so many awesome experiences, laughter, good food, good times and plenty of pink tutu moments, it truly makes my heart flutter. That feeling, like when you twirl at the end of a dance number, when everyone's clapping and the stage lights illuminate your every move… just bliss! It’s times like these that remind me why I love doing this blog and why I love my life – sharing these experiences with you lovely pink tutu people.

This city has really captured my imagination. I find it incredibly fascinating and exciting. New York, New York - what a vibrant, exciting, truly magical place to explore!
