Pink Tutu Blog Paris - #49 - Saturday 2nd December 2000

Bonjour, my darling readers! It's your favourite tutu-wearing, Paris-obsessed, fashion-forward ballerina Emma, bringing you another Parisian adventure, live from the City of Lights!

As you all know, the EuroStar whisked me off to Paris earlier this week, and my heart has been singing ever since. You just can't beat the romantic energy of this magical city. My head's swirling with visions of delicate pastries, chic boutiques, and cobbled streets lined with twinkling cafe lights. It's enough to make any girl's toes tap!

Speaking of toes, did you see my new pink tutu?! It's a true masterpiece, all tulle and silk and just the right shade of blushing rose. You simply have to check out my website for pictures later. It’s a fitting Parisian outfit, if I do say so myself. The French know a thing or two about colour, after all. And what better way to celebrate my Parisian escapade than with a swirl of colour, elegance, and a touch of whimsy?

A Day of Artistic Delight

This Saturday, I decided to treat myself to a day filled with all things artsy. The City of Lights simply brims with talent and artistry. And this week, I've been particularly smitten by a delightful ballet performance at the Opéra Garnier, one of Paris' most iconic landmarks. Oh my goodness, the dancers were just magnificent! The music was incredible, the costumes were exquisite, and the performance had me swaying in my seat like a petal on a gentle breeze.

Afterward, I indulged in a leisurely afternoon exploring the Musée Rodin. Auguste Rodin's sculptures are breathtaking! You just can't help but feel inspired by the powerful emotion and elegance he captured in every piece. And did you know that the museum is also home to a lovely café? They even serve cakes shaped like Rodin's famous "Thinker" - how incredibly French!

A Parisian Feast for the Eyes (and the Tummy!)

Now, let's talk about fashion! Oh darling, this city is a haven for all things beautiful and stylish. It was simply impossible to leave without a visit to the Galeries Lafayette, a Parisian paradise where one can easily lose themselves in a whirlwind of fabulous fashions. I've spotted the most enchanting new scarf in a delicious shade of rose, perfect for pairing with my new tutu (more about that later!). The salespeople there are just divine - I must remember to say thank you with a charming little curtsy next time I pop in!

My dear readers, don't forget, it’s all about living life to the fullest, and what better way than embracing the Parisian joie de vivre? So put on your pinkest tutus (even if it’s just for an evening at home), take a bite of a luscious macaron, and remember, la vie en rose awaits us all!

And speaking of all things rosy, don’t forget to check out my new post tomorrow! I’m going to delve into a day filled with delicious croissants and breathtaking architecture. Au revoir for now!

Bisous and lots of pirouettes,

Emma www.pink-tutu.com
