Pink Tutu Blog Paris - Post #81: Bonjour Paris, It’s a Tutu Good Time! 🩰🇫🇷

Oh la la! It’s Saturday, and you know what that means - it’s time for another Paris blog post from yours truly, Emma, the Pink Tutu Blogger! I'm just back from another whirlwind trip to this beautiful city, and let me tell you, it’s been absolutely magical!

This week, I embarked on a rather romantic journey, arriving in Paris by the glamorous Eurostar, the train that whisked me across the Channel, with visions of pink tutus and croissants dancing in my head! As soon as the train pulled into Gare du Nord, I could feel the magic of Paris pulsing through me - it's like a beautiful, bubbly tonic, fizzing with life, art, and just a dash of pink.

I can't think of a better way to start a Parisian adventure than with a proper breakfast at a little café just down the road from my apartment, which, of course, has to be in the most adorable, picturesque neighbourhood. It’s actually right near a lovely little bakery that makes the most incredible croissants (pink, of course!) and freshly squeezed orange juice – so good that I actually squealed in delight when I bit into one this morning. They even had a selection of miniature pastries, just perfect for a ballerina on the go. And then, the best bit - the owner gave me the biggest, warmest smile and wished me a bon voyage before I went back to my apartment. Can you tell I’m smitten?

You see, Paris is the perfect city for a Pink Tutu Blogger like me – it’s just bursting with culture, fashion, and a whimsical spirit that perfectly aligns with my tutu-clad adventures!

Speaking of adventures, my day started with an absolute dream come true: I spent the morning at the Palais Garnier, home of the Paris Opera Ballet. It’s an incredible building – the opulence and grandeur just blew me away. It's like stepping back in time, and just standing inside feels so majestic. They have these huge chandeliers that sparkle like diamonds and ornate carvings that take your breath away – and, of course, the most breathtaking theatre stage you could imagine.

Afterwards, I decided to grab a crêpe and watch some of the amazing street performers in front of Notre Dame – I can’t believe they actually allow buskers to perform there, the acoustics are incredible. I saw everything from a mime performing the Swan Lake to a group of musicians playing beautiful Parisian tunes – it was the perfect blend of artistic expression and that quintessential Parisian charm.

I spent the rest of the afternoon indulging in the incredible fashion and shopping of the Marais – oh, you’ve got to see these shops – there’s literally everything a fashionista could dream of: antique boutiques crammed with exquisite vintage pieces, charming bookstores that look like they could be straight out of a film, and even a shop entirely devoted to all things tutu. Seriously, you could get lost in the Marais for days!

But you know, even with all this glorious shopping and exploring, the real highlight of the trip for me was actually catching a show at the Grand Rex – a beautiful, art-deco cinema right in the heart of Paris! It’s like walking into a movie set! You can tell that cinema history happened right here. They’re still showing some classic movies, and the decor is stunning!

It wasn’t a ballet show this time – though, that's definitely next on the agenda - but, it was still magical. A truly Parisian evening - beautiful lights, a sparkling city, and an incredible film about a group of young ballerinas making their way to Paris – it's a little bit meta for a pink tutu blogger! Of course, I'm always on the lookout for inspiring movies about the ballet – so keep your eyes peeled on the blog for reviews!

You know, I just love the energy in Paris! It’s infectious – this energy is definitely one of the things I just can’t get enough of – I feel completely at home in the beautiful architecture and the incredible vibrancy of Parisian life – It’s so vibrant! Oh, and the city itself is definitely pink enough for me – it’s absolutely dripping in pink hues and pastel pinks! You can't miss all the beautiful pink pastries and floral displays at all the street markets. And, just you wait until you see the beautiful, blooming rose gardens.

I do believe my life in Paris just keeps getting better and better – it’s definitely time to pack a new tutu!

This trip’s already full of gorgeous inspiration! So if you're looking for a getaway, full of charm, excitement, and enough pink to make your heart sing, you’ve just got to come visit Paris!

Stay tuned for next week’s blog, when I'm sharing more of my Parisian adventures with you - and be sure to keep up with my adventures on social media @pinktutublogger – it’s always a tutu good time there!

Until next Saturday,

Emma, The Pink Tutu Blogger

I’m Emma, a ballerina from Derbyshire, England, and my mission is simple: to spread the magic of ballet and pink tutus throughout the world! 🩰💖

It all started with a little bit of sparkle and a whole lot of dreams. As a ballerina, I've always been captivated by the elegance and artistry of the ballet, but it's the sheer beauty of the pink tutu that truly captures my heart.

So I decided to start Pink-Tutu.com – my online space to share my love for ballet and all things pink! I talk about ballet performances, tutorials, reviews of shows and all things ballet – there’s even some serious fashion tips thrown in the mix too – think, tulle, sequins, and yes, of course – pink! I’m also passionate about encouraging people to step outside of their comfort zones and embrace the joy of self-expression, even if it means wearing a pink tutu in the streets!

And of course, I’m also passionate about travelling – the more, the merrier! My mission is to share all the pink-tutu magic with the world, exploring gorgeous destinations like Paris, Vienna, and even London, and using every chance I get to enjoy everything the ballet world has to offer, and inspire others to do the same!

If you'd like to find out more about my adventures or find out how you can embrace your inner pink-tutu enthusiast, follow me on Instagram or Facebook. Let’s celebrate the magic of dance and spread the pink tutu joy together!

Follow Emma’s Paris adventures on www.pink-tutu.com - every Saturday. Don’t miss an adventure – don’t miss out on the fun!
