Pink Tutu Blog Paris - #87 - Parisian Dreams

Bonjour mes amis! This week, I'm whisking you away to the City of Lights, the epitome of romance and elegance, the oh-so-chic Paris! As a true Pink Tutu Girl, Paris holds a special place in my heart. Every Parisian street corner feels like a scene from a ballet, don't you think? I'm living my best life here, and, as always, my beloved pink tutu is by my side.

This post, my darling readers, marks the 87th entry of my Paris blog. And believe me, every week is an adventure, each filled with stories and sights that make me smile, laugh, and sometimes even shed a tear of pure joy.

Now, let me paint you a picture. Imagine a sunny Saturday, the air crisp and fresh with the promise of adventure, as I stepped off the EuroStar train in Paris. It’s an absolute dream coming true. This magical journey was financed by a series of breathtaking performances - all featuring yours truly in a custom-designed pink tutu, of course! And as a testament to my passion, this trip is dedicated to spreading the joy of ballet and, naturally, the gloriously pink tutu revolution.

Pink Tutu Parisian Adventure

From the moment I stepped onto Parisian soil, the world transformed into a beautiful, romantic masterpiece. I love the chic and effortless Parisian style – the elegant Parisian women in their timeless trench coats and stylish flats – the effortlessly stylish Parisian men, the quaint boutiques overflowing with the latest fashion trends. I’ve already snagged a gorgeous vintage handbag from a tiny shop tucked away on a cobblestone street – it's a pale pink, of course, and it goes perfectly with my pink tutu!

Today, I decided to immerse myself in the heart of the city and wandered through the enchanting Tuileries Gardens. A delicate breeze rustled the leaves of the ancient trees, whispering stories of kings and queens, artists and poets. It’s just beautiful. There was a street performer doing a mime routine, he was so expressive. The kids who walked by thought he was very funny!

After that, I found myself at the magical Shakespeare and Company bookstore – the one with the cozy reading nooks. The aroma of old paper and ink hung in the air like a perfume. I even found a vintage copy of my favorite play, "Romeo and Juliet"! And to top it off, they had a delightful display of ballet-themed books - all featuring a pink tutu on the cover! It seems fate is leading me to make every girl dream come true, wouldn’t you say?

I wouldn't be true to my Pink Tutu persona if I didn't mention the amazing Parisian food I've been savoring. You know I can't resist a beautiful pastry, so I’ve been enjoying the most delectable éclairs and macarons. My new favorite? A bright pink macaron, dusted with sparkling sugar – perfect with a strong cup of coffee. So chic!

Dance is a universal language, even in Paris.

Tonight, I’m indulging my love of dance with tickets to the grand Palais Garnier. Imagine, a breathtaking building steeped in history, its velvet seats beckoning me to an unforgettable performance. I’m going to be dancing to some exquisite ballet music, feeling the music course through my very being, and taking it all in as a dedicated student of ballet. What’s more Parisian than seeing the iconic French ballerina in a breathtaking tutu? Well, only me!

To make my evening even more fabulous, I found a vintage, feathered hat from a charming antique shop near the Garnier – a touch of old Hollywood glam that is the perfect complement to my pink tutu, wouldn't you say? I will add a picture to this post so you can all see.

The power of pink.

There’s a certain je ne sais quoi about pink that instantly brightens the day, transforms any ordinary moment into a memory you will treasure forever. Every outfit I wear with a pink tutu radiates this kind of magic. This weekend, I will even be sharing a few outfits from this adventure to www.pink-tutu.com so you can enjoy it all with me.

So remember, darling readers, it’s okay to be bold and embrace the power of pink! My message to the world? Never underestimate the transformative power of a pink tutu! And let's be honest, with a Pink Tutu and a cheerful smile, we can do anything, especially here in Paris, the city of love and dreams.

Au revoir, mes amis, until next week's Parisian adventure!
