Pink Tutu Blog: Paris - Post 172

Bonjour mes amies!

It's Emma here, writing to you live from the City of Lights, Paris! Oh, it's truly magical, just like a scene from Swan Lake. This city, brimming with history, romance, and… oh, the fashion! I simply cannot resist. You know I love me a good Parisian frock, especially with a little touch of pink! And the shops! Oh, mon Dieu, they are absolutely divine!

This week, my lovely readers, has been a whirlwind of ballet and fashion! I'm here to share all the adventures and the wonderful inspiration Paris has given me – the sights, the sounds, the incredible fashion.

Eurostar Chic

I arrived in Paris with my trusty travel companion: the Eurostar! There is something simply delightful about journeying through the countryside, the French landscape gliding by my window, watching the world rush past in a blur of green fields and quaint villages. And of course, my outfit? Pure pink tutu fabulousness, darling! A blush pink tutu, paired with a chic black jacket and some adorable ballet flats. I always find that the perfect Parisian look includes a touch of ballerina flair. After all, who says we can't wear our dance wear off the stage?

The Paris Ballet

The Palais Garnier. Can you even imagine?! I spent Friday night indulging in an evening of ballet at this majestic opera house, simply dazzling with its golden chandeliers and lavish decorations. The ballet, Giselle, transported me straight to a fairy tale. I simply swooned at the choreography, the artistry of the dancers, their breathtaking leaps and twirls. It's no wonder Paris is the ballet capital of the world. I’m planning to see a few more shows before I leave - this time, a little something with a bit more pink, maybe La Sylphide? Perhaps 😉

Shopping, Fashion, and the Pinkest of Pink Tutus

Oh my, Paris! You really are the epitome of style. My journey this weekend was all about exploring the chic boutiques and uncovering hidden gems of fashion. Let’s just say that my suitcase may have exploded a little bit (no one say anything!), and I had to buy another suitcase for my shoe collection. What’s a ballerina to do when there are just too many fabulous things to buy?! And the pinkest of pink tutus – a true feast for the eyes. My dear readers, you’ll just have to wait and see what lovely new treasures have made their way into my collection.

The Ethereal Eiffel Tower

Of course, no trip to Paris would be complete without a visit to the Eiffel Tower! As I stood at the foot of this majestic structure, I was struck by its elegant grace and the feeling that it was reaching out to the stars. I made my way up, gazing out at the magnificent panorama of Paris. It’s a view I will never forget! You have to agree that it looks magical against the evening sky, lit up with a twinkling brilliance – like a thousand tiny stars twinkling together. It's a vision that I will never forget.

Finding Parisian Inspiration Everywhere

Paris truly has a magical way of weaving its way into my heart. Every cobbled street, every bustling café, every park, every performance... It all inspires me, fills me with creative energy, and reminds me of the joy and wonder of being alive. The feeling, as I look at the stunning architecture, the beautifully dressed Parisian women (and of course, men!), the captivating dancers on stage, the delectable patisseries… it's simply a whirlwind of beauty and delight! It makes me think, what can I do, as a ballerina and as an aspiring fashionista, to add a touch of this magic to the world? I am sure I will find my way.

The Pink Tutu Effect

And of course, my mission continues - I have come to Paris to spread the gospel of pink tutus! My journey in Paris has confirmed my belief in the pink tutu magic. Each step I take in Paris reminds me of my journey to inspire others to wear their tutus with confidence, to twirl through life with grace and joy. So let's raise a glass (or perhaps, a lovely, frothy cappuccino!) to the power of pink and the power of our dreams!

A Little About My Travels

And you know, as a little girl from Derbyshire, I always dreamed of traveling the world. And I'm incredibly grateful that I can make these dreams come true, thanks to my love of ballet. Every performance, every rehearsal, every time I step onto the stage - it’s my journey to share my love for the art form with others and in turn, that makes it possible for me to pursue my other passion: seeing the world and writing about it. So stay tuned for next week’s blog post - another glimpse into my Parisian adventures. I can’t wait to tell you all about it!

Au revoir!
