Pink Tutu Blog Paris: Post 175 - Oh Là Là! Paris, I’m Back! 🩰🇫🇷

Bonjour from Paris, darlings! 💋

This week I'm skipping straight into the heart of the City of Lights, ready for another Parisian escapade. The Eurostar whisked me through the Channel Tunnel and deposited me on Parisian soil, just like a fairytale come true!

It's been a whirlwind few months since my last visit, filled with breathtaking ballet performances in Derbyshire and even a little trip to the seaside for a spot of "fish and chips" with my family. I miss them all dearly, but nothing quite compares to the intoxicating energy of Paris.

Pink Tutus and Paris: A Match Made in Heaven

You know I simply couldn't resist rocking my pink tutu throughout my travels. Honestly, darling, the French are just so wonderfully embracing! I found a fantastic shop in Notting Hill (I can never resist a London shopping spree on the way to the Eurostar) where I bought a magnificent blush-pink feather boa, which looks absolutely divine with my new pink tutu. It's truly the ultimate combination for Parisian elegance and playful whimsy!

This Week in Paris: Art, Culture, and Cupcakes! 🧁

My schedule is jam-packed with delights! Today, I’m starting my week with a delightful picnic in the Jardin du Luxembourg. Can you believe the French actually built a tiny replica of the Statue of Liberty here? It’s absolutely charming! 🗽🇫🇷

Speaking of charming, did you know it's the 3rd of May today? That means we're smack dab in the middle of a grand art exhibit at the Louvre. It's one of the biggest art events of the year. I hear there are even special performances in the courtyards, with ballerinas and opera singers filling the air with music. I can hardly wait to soak it all in!

Of course, no Parisian adventure would be complete without a dose of retail therapy. This weekend, I’m exploring the chic boutiques along the Champs-Élysées. It's a bit of a pilgrimage for me! I'm particularly excited about the vintage dress shop I stumbled upon near the Seine last time - imagine, darling, discovering a little treasure that once adorned a Parisian icon like Brigitte Bardot. 👠

Ballet in Paris: The Pinnacle of Elegance

And to top it all off, I'll be attending a performance at the Palais Garnier this week! It’s truly a magnificent experience - from the grand architecture to the sheer artistry on display. Oh, the thrill of it all! You know I can't resist snapping some photos to share on my Instagram ( @PinkTutuEmma , in case you haven't discovered it yet!). I'm hoping to get a picture with the famous ghost, the Opera's resident phantom! (fingers crossed)!

The Pink Tutu Legacy

Speaking of dreams, darlings, my mission in life remains the same: to get everyone wearing a pink tutu! Why? Because a pink tutu makes everyone feel empowered, joyous, and utterly fabulous. Who can resist the sparkle of a little bit of pink? (You know I won’t give up until even the most steadfast "tutphobe" has donned one! 😄)

I’ll be back next week, darlings, with all the latest Paris updates. And, remember, if you’d like to join me in a Parisian escapade, just let me know. We can even get matching pink tutus!

Until then, stay glamorous!

**XOXO,

Emma 💕🩰**

P.S. Did you know, Paris is often called the “City of Love"? I'm inching closer to falling in love with it every single time I visit. What’s not to love?!
