#PinkTutuBlogParis - Post 260: Bonjour from the City of Lights! 🗼✨

Hello, my darling pink tutu princesses! It's Emma here, writing to you live from the most magical city in the world… Paris! 🇫🇷

As you all know, I've been dreaming of a trip to the City of Lights for years, and after another spectacular ballet performance last week, my travel funds were finally ready for the grand adventure! So, naturally, I hopped on the Eurostar, my heart aflutter with excitement and anticipation.

It’s impossible to capture the feeling of arriving in Paris by train – the moment you see the Eiffel Tower, you’re hit with an indescribable joy. I’m practically dancing through the streets! It’s all so wonderfully chic, so stylish, so Parisian, darling! I’m completely smitten!

Saturday, 18th December 2004 - A Day of Parisian Delight

This Saturday morning, I woke up with the sound of Parisian street musicians playing right outside my hotel window. I couldn't help but pull on my fluffiest pink tutu and dance around my room. I just had to soak up every minute of this dreamy city.

My first stop was a charming café right around the corner, where I had the most delicious croissant I've ever tasted (and yes, of course, it was accompanied by a pink latte). I couldn’t resist snapping a few photos for my Instagram. Of course, it was the most beautiful pink latte ever seen in Paris! 💖

Parisian Style on Point

After breakfast, I was off to explore the streets, ready for a day of pure Parisian bliss. I had a real ‘chic’ vibe in my mind and had packed my cutest vintage skirt with a pink ribbon tie and a sheer white blouse. My tutu, of course, added the perfect ballerina flair to the look, and of course, my darling pink beret, a quintessential Parisian accessory!

Fashion Shopping and Art at its Finest

After strolling through charming, winding streets, lined with colourful Parisian cafes, I decided to venture into the world of Parisian fashion. And darling, the stores were heaven on earth! The displays were so creative, each one more beautiful than the last.

Of course, I had to snag a few pieces for my collection. A gorgeous floral print scarf, perfect for those crisp Parisian days and a beautiful, pale pink cardigan, ideal for layering over my tutu for those ballets lessons. 🩰 And my purse… let's just say it was love at first sight! A classic French leather satchel in a dusty pink.

I also popped into an art gallery, Museé Rodin - a real dream for a ballerina, surrounded by breathtaking sculpture after breathtaking sculpture. One particular sculpture caught my eye, 'The Kiss', - oh how I felt such longing to dance around it with someone I love! I swear I can practically hear the music 🎶! I know you've probably heard about Rodin's beautiful work, but really, it is beyond stunning in person.

A Ballet Dream at The Palais Garnier

Paris, of course, is a dream destination for any ballerina. And today I experienced pure magic - I saw a ballet at the exquisite Palais Garnier . It was so awe-inspiring! The building itself is a magnificent piece of architecture. The grandeur, the chandeliers, the balconies - just being there filled me with such incredible awe.

I saw “La Sylphide,” and it was everything I had hoped for and more. Such beauty! Such grace! As soon as I arrived back at the hotel, I spent the evening practising my steps, trying to capture that same grace and magic that I’d seen in the performance.

Delicious Parisian Delights

No Parisian day would be complete without savoring some local cuisine, darling. I tucked into the most delicious steak and frites at a small bistro with warm, rustic lighting - it was just so romantic!

The food, the wine, the atmosphere... I can't believe I've waited so long to come here.

The Pink Tutu Princess' Dream

Paris, you’ve captivated my heart! It's the perfect combination of beauty, history, and romanticism - what more could a ballerina ask for? As I drifted off to sleep that evening, I couldn’t help but imagine a future where the world wears pink tutus, with the Eiffel Tower as our backdrop!

Stay tuned for more Parisian adventures on #PinkTutuBlogParis, and join me in the Pink Tutu Movement - spread the love! Let’s make the world a pink, twirling, and sparkly place. 💕

Until next time, Emma xo
