Pink Tutu Blog Paris - Post #352: Bonjour, Paris!

Bonjour, mes chériees! It's Emma here, and this week's Pink Tutu Blog takes us to the most magical city in the world – Paris! I just had to visit the city of love and fashion, the place where my Parisian ballerina dreams are made!

I whizzed over on the Eurostar, feeling like a princess in my pink tutu (of course!) and sipping on a sparkling grape juice (non-alcoholic, naturally – gotta be responsible!). I can't imagine travelling any other way than by train, especially on a long journey – so relaxing, and you can stretch out your legs, which is vital when you're rocking a tutu. 😉

This week's post is bursting with the most fabulously pink Parisian experiences. You know how much I love fashion, and let me tell you, the shops in Paris are absolutely divine! It was like stepping into a fairy-tale, especially around the chic streets of Saint Germain des Pres. I felt like a real Parisian, gliding around the charming cobbled streets in my pink tutu, searching for the most gorgeous treasures – silk scarves, stylish boots, and the prettiest little shops selling antique jewellery that I could wear to a ballet performance back home in Derbyshire. And speaking of ballet, there are just SO MANY ballet shows to choose from here. I caught a beautiful production of Giselle on Thursday, with a tutu more intricate than anything I've seen. Talk about inspiration!

A Little Pink Perfection in Every Corner

Paris is truly the city for the ballet-loving fashionista. You wouldn't believe the amount of pink in this place! Pink cafe walls, pink macarons, even pink bicycles - they're absolutely everywhere, which obviously thrilled this little tutu-wearing blogger. And if you think you've found the perfect pink cafe chair, just wait till you see the pastries. Swoon!

The pink is truly captivating and makes me feel even more empowered to embrace my passion for tutus!

Sunday Strolls, Seine-Side Snapshots & the Eifel Tower's Beauty

I couldn't resist a wander around the Champ de Mars, watching the swans gracefully gliding on the Seine. I think my ballet moves even inspired a few little kids who were pretending to be ballerinas themselves. How heartwarming is that?

As for the Eiffel Tower... what can I say? It's iconic, romantic, and even more beautiful than in the pictures. It truly is the heart of this glamorous city, a beacon of love and a symbol of French sophistication. You can even see the tower from a great many viewpoints throughout the city. I found it's amazing how just a tiny, sparkly, pink accessory, like a satin ribbon around my hair or a small floral clip can compliment my tutu and capture a breathtaking Parisian picture by the Seine.

A Touch of History: Visiting Notre Dame

My heart ached to see the Notre Dame cathedral still covered in scaffolding following the fire a couple of years ago. Such a piece of Parisian history! It's comforting to know it is under reconstruction and that the people of Paris are doing everything to rebuild it. It's truly inspiring, isn't it?

A Pink Tutu Day at Disneyland Paris

Even a tutu-loving girl has a touch of the child about her, so I knew I just had to take a trip to Disneyland Paris! I have to say, it was simply magic. I felt like I was walking into one of my dreams.

And the perfect way to top off a day in Disneyland is, you guessed it – ballet! This amazing show on Saturday had it all: acrobatic feats, magical music, and the most amazing ballerinas performing some of the most graceful leaps and twirls. Oh, and I wore my special glittery pink tutu! It shimmered and danced as the dancers glided across the stage, just like mine!

Parisian Chic at the Theatre du Châtelet

Parisian theatres are like no other - the stage, the performers, the atmosphere. On this very Saturday, the 23rd, I'm making my way to see the stunning production of The Nutcracker, I simply couldn't miss out! The exquisite dancers are a real treat for the eyes, so expect to see lots of exciting pictures of this ballet on my social media next week.

Pink Tutu's French Inspiration

My trip to Paris has inspired me more than I could have ever imagined! This city, the beautiful buildings, the iconic streets, the fashion and the atmosphere have stirred something special within me. This journey to Paris was absolutely unforgettable and made my dream of travelling the world with my Pink Tutu a little closer to reality!

Until next time, darlings! Stay fabulous, stay bold and, of course, wear a pink tutu!

Au revoir!

Love,

Emma
