Pink Tutu Blog Paris - #443: Whirlwind in the City of Lights!

Bonjour mes chéries! It’s Emma here, back from a Parisian whirlwind!

This week’s Pink Tutu Blog Paris comes to you straight from the City of Lights itself – well, okay, it's my little flat in Montmartre, surrounded by stacks of fabulous new Parisian fashion finds. It’s been an absolute dream of a trip! The train ride was oh-so-romantic, zipping through the English countryside before heading towards the heart of France. I felt like a true Parisian already!

The EuroStar Experience: A Chic Beginning

First stop? EuroStar! This iconic train is not only a quick and comfy way to travel, it’s a true fashion spectacle. The plush carriages were just begging for a little pink tulle flair, don’t you think? My trusty, bright pink tulle skirt swished with every turn of the train, reminding everyone around me of the true Parisian fashion statement.

Parisian Elegance - A Stroll Through Montmartre

Arriving at Gare du Nord felt like stepping into a film set – the grand architecture, the elegant Parisians flitting past, and, of course, the street performers adding to the artistic flair! This, my loves, is my Parisian paradise! My flat is in the heart of Montmartre – oh, the inspiration! There's this amazing bakery down the street called Le Pain Quotidien which is absolutely divine. Just imagine, a perfectly crafted croissant dipped in fresh, creamy latte – absolute heaven! And just outside my window? Sacré-Coeur! The gleaming white Basilica sits atop the hill, an emblem of Parisian grandeur. I’ve been taking morning walks there every day, my pink tutu swaying gently in the fresh air – it’s such a dreamy Parisian life!

Dancing with the Parisian Stars

Of course, I’ve already indulged in some Parisian culture – because nothing says "Paris" like ballet! Last night, I saw a stunning performance at the Opera Garnier – oh, the grandeur, the talent! The costumes were breathtaking, and the music…pure magic. It was everything a ballerina dreams of! It truly is like a fairy tale brought to life. I swear, the lights were perfectly placed for capturing a "tutu moment" and I simply couldn’t resist striking a few poses! It was exhilarating. It's amazing how a ballet performance can transcend language, making you feel emotions so intensely.

Fashion Fever - A Parisian Shopping Spree

My wardrobe needs a little Paris love, and I can tell you – the Parisian fashion scene does not disappoint! From charming little boutiques tucked away in side streets to the chic designer labels, Paris is a paradise for shopaholics like me. Yesterday, I ventured into a lovely shop in Saint Germain des Pres called Les Petites Bobines – an absolute heaven for vintage treasures. Oh, the dresses! I'd love to say I was restrained but the shop was a dreamland and the saleswoman was such a sweetie! You won't be surprised to hear that I bought more than just one vintage masterpiece. It’s amazing how these vintage dresses just breathe elegance and sophistication.

Weekend Wonders - Exploring Parisian Delights

Tomorrow, it’s all about experiencing the delights of Paris! First stop, the Louvre! It’s just a quick metro ride away, which reminds me – how delightful is it that the metro is adorned with artwork? Makes the commute so much more exciting. Imagine the stories each image could tell – Parisian secrets whispers across the generations.

Later, I plan to wander around the quaint streets of the Marais. They say it’s full of quirky vintage stores, street performers, and hidden treasures – perfect for this Pink Tutu girl! In the evening, it’s off to the Latin Quarter – with its lively bars and charming restaurants. And perhaps, I’ll catch a show at the historic Bobino theatre! After all, nothing brings a Parisian evening alive more than a touch of music and performance!

Sharing My Love of Pink Tutu in Paris

Let’s be real – spreading the love for pink tulle is always on my mind. I’ve noticed there's this amazing spirit of expression and personal style in Paris. The Parisians just love to stand out – and why wouldn't they? It’s about individuality and finding your own style. I have seen a few pink tutus here and there. But honestly, I think the city needs a touch more Pink Tutu magic!

So, how about we make this happen? The Parisians are known for their joie de vivre – let’s bring them a sprinkle of playful pink tutu joy. Who wants to wear a pink tutu in Paris this week and snap a pic to share online? Maybe I'll even do a tutu-themed meet-up and inspire everyone with a Pink Tutu dance routine! Imagine it - a pink tutu parade through the streets of Paris! Now, that’s a memory I’ll be dancing about for years!

See you all next Saturday,

Your Parisian pink tutu girl, Emma xx
