Bonjour mes amies!
Well, here I am, back in Paris! I'm positively giddy, darlings, and my pink tutu feels like it's doing a little pirouette on its own. This city always gets me feeling all dreamy and whimsical, especially when it's sunny like today!
This trip is extra special, as I've arrived by EuroStar! I do love a good train journey – the gentle sway of the carriages, the clinking of the tea trolley, and the view flashing by like a ballet of colours… it's all just utterly divine. And I was sporting a particularly delightful pink ensemble, of course!
My travel funds, you ask? Well, the magic of ballet comes to the rescue! My recent performance as a Sugar Plum Fairy at the Derbyshire Dance Academy was a real crowd-pleaser (and of course, I had the most fantastic pink tutu on) – enough to fund this wonderful Parisian escapade!
Speaking of escapades, this trip's packed full of the usual Pink Tutu essentials:
- A glorious visit to the Opera Garnier: We're talking gilded chandeliers, ornate columns, and the most elegant theatre in all of France! I might just get inspired to create a tutu fit for a prima ballerina!
- A Parisian shopping spree, of course!: From the chic boutiques of Rue Saint-Honoré to the vintage delights of the Marais, I'll be on the hunt for fabulous pieces to add to my pink wardrobe. A new pair of ballet pumps in the most exquisite shade of blush pink is at the top of my list!
- A little street theatre: You know I can't resist a good street performance, and Paris has so many talented buskers! I might even sneak in a little impromptu pirouette in the square myself - imagine the photos, darling!
But hold on! What else is happening in Paris on this glorious Saturday, the 25th of April?
Let me consult my Parisian event guide – Oh! There's a ballet exhibition at the Palais Garnier itself! I simply must add that to the agenda. How perfectly Parisian, don't you think? The perfect excuse to immerse myself in all things ballet.
The city seems positively abuzz, too, with an air of springtime energy and a dash of Parisian chic. The cherry blossoms are just beginning to bloom, adding a delicate pink hue to the already beautiful streets. My heart is filled with joy and anticipation!
