The Eurostar Journey - First Class in My Pink Tutu
As always, the Eurostar journey was a delightful experience. There’s something so glamorous about whizzing through the Channel Tunnel. I felt like a princess on my way to a grand ball! Naturally, I couldn't resist donning my new, gorgeous hot pink tulle tutu. It was so swishy and twirly, it had the other passengers in stitches (in a good way, of course!). You know how much I love spreading a little bit of pink joy wherever I go!
Landing in the City of Lights: Pink Paradise
After a smooth journey, we were greeted by the Eiffel Tower - sparkling like a giant diamond in the sunshine. I felt like I was walking straight into a dream! And the first thing I did? Well, you guessed it: headed for the most beautiful pink patisserie I could find. It had these gorgeous macarons, the pink ones were especially dreamy, topped with edible pearl sprinkles and all. Talk about pink paradise!
Parisian Ballet Adventures
It wouldn’t be a Pink Tutu Paris post without a ballet show, right? Well, darling, you can imagine my delight when I found a charming, tiny theatre showing the "Giselle" ballet! The costumes were beautiful, the music enchanting, and the dancers truly captivating. My heart ached with joy, especially the beautiful ballerina who played Giselle! It truly inspired me to push my own dancing skills.
Shopping for Pink Perfection in The Marais
You all know my passion for clothes, and the Marais district is a treasure trove for Parisian chic. We spent a wonderful morning discovering all the boutiques, filling my pink suitcase with some lovely finds:
- A floaty silk top: The perfect Parisian summer blouse with a delicate floral print, absolutely ideal for my pink tutu.
- A little black dress: Timeless, elegant, and oh-so-Parisian! With the right accessories, it's my secret weapon for transforming my style for evening events.
- A whimsical straw hat: The kind you see in movies, perfect for sunny days exploring the city! It will add the perfect touch to my Parisian outfits, don't you think?
Discovering Parisian Street Art and Performances
The streets of Paris were bursting with life, with street performers around every corner. I absolutely love the vibrant artistic energy of Paris, from the breathtaking architectural masterpieces to the impromptu busking sessions. There was a mime outside the Notre Dame that had everyone in fits of laughter - it was so witty and entertaining!
And I have to tell you, my heart just soared when I stumbled across a spontaneous ballet performance in a charming courtyard. I'm telling you, these Parisian dancers are phenomenal. They twirled with such elegance, making my feet twitch to join in! I mean, could there be anything more delightful than street art and a sprinkle of ballet magic?
Enjoying Delicious French Delights
Who can resist French pastries? You can’t come to Paris without trying the delicious bread, croissants and, of course, the legendary pain au chocolat. I am a woman who loves her sweets! It's impossible to go hungry in Paris - there are delightful cafes and patisseries on every corner. You truly can experience pure happiness with every bite!
The Romance of Parisian Evenings
We wandered the Seine by night, taking in the romantic beauty of Paris under the moonlit sky. The bridges were decorated with twinkly lights, the Eiffel Tower shimmered with elegance, and the streets buzzed with lively conversations. It's truly magical, and it had me completely charmed.

My trip to Paris is always an inspiring one. This city has a way of sparking creativity and joy! I'm feeling completely invigorated by all the sights, the flavours, and the artistic beauty.
