Oh, hello darlings! It’s Saturday, which means it’s time for another installment of Pink Tutu Paris! I’m so thrilled to finally be writing to you from the City of Lights itself! My dreams have come true, my darlings, I’m in Paris! I can barely contain my excitement! It’s a day for dreams to come true in a pink tutu!
Now, as you know, I’m not the type to fly. It’s simply not a dignified way to travel, not for someone who enjoys looking chic and stylish in her signature tutu. I'd rather enjoy a comfortable journey than jostle for space on a cramped plane. So, I chose to travel the most glamorous way, via EuroStar, and let me tell you, darling, that’s the way to do it. Imagine, sipping champagne as the world whizzes by, wearing my new pink polka dot dress and of course, my pink tulle ballerina flats – pure Parisian elegance, wouldn’t you say?
Once we arrived in Paris, the first thing I did was, of course, throw myself into a Parisian cafe to indulge in some heavenly macarons (yes, there was pink ones!). The aroma of coffee and the sugary scent of those little delicious clouds of pastel goodness made me feel like I was in a Parisian fairytale!
Ballet Heaven
One of the primary reasons I was in Paris was for the exquisite ballet at the Palais Garnier, of course! Honestly, the Palais Garnier is simply stunning. I nearly squealed in delight upon seeing it – pure opulence, my darlings.
This week I managed to secure tickets for Swan Lake. Oh, the beauty! It was utterly breathtaking! Watching these graceful dancers soar across the stage in their breathtaking costumes… pure ballet heaven! It reminded me why I’m so obsessed with ballet – it’s not just dancing, it’s storytelling, emotion, and pure beauty all rolled into one.
Parisian Style - On a Shopping Spree!
Now, let’s talk about Paris and shopping, darling, this city simply exudes fashion. And what does a Pink Tutu Blogger do in the fashion capital of the world? Why, go shopping, of course! And shopping I did.
The shops were pure heaven! So many beautiful and intricate clothes, my darlings! From the chic boutiques to the quirky independent stores, there was so much to explore. I snagged a pair of lace gloves in a dusky pink – utterly perfect for tea at a cafe. And of course, I had to find myself a brand-new tutu - this one with beautiful silver embellishments.
Speaking of, remember how I said my goal in life is to make the world wear a pink tutu? I am determined to turn Paris pink. I spotted so many lovely Parisians out and about, stylish as ever, and I must say, I could see a little sprinkle of pink in their outfits. One woman wore a chic fuchsia bag that complemented her dress perfectly – oh, it just made me so happy to see a touch of pink. I might have even made a few polite requests to see people try on some of my favorite tutu styles from my collection, just to spark a little pink tutu love!
More Parisian Adventures
My darling friends, this has been an exhilarating day – I could tell you about all the amazing sights we have seen - the Eiffel Tower glittering under the setting sun, the Seine shimmering under the moonlight – oh, Paris is a city to truly inspire dreams. It's definitely on the top of my "Must See" list! I can’t wait to share all my adventures with you – there's so much to see and do, and believe me, darling, I will capture it all in this little pink-tutu paradise I call my blog.
Speaking of that pink tutu… I know, I’ve talked a bit too much about the magical tutu already (oops!), but, let’s face it, it is such an integral part of my personality, so, I cannot resist sharing that I am determined to wear a tutu at least once a day! Why, darling? Well, simply because the pink tutu gives me confidence, a sense of joy and freedom. I love the feeling of twirling and dancing through life, so you will certainly find a few photos in my upcoming posts with my lovely pink tutu, right here in the City of Lights.
I’m already excited for next week’s Parisian adventure! I think it’s time to discover some hidden Parisian treasures. Ooh, I even hear there’s a a Moulin Rouge show! The anticipation!
