Bonjour mes amies!
Itās Emma here, your resident pink-tutu enthusiast, reporting live from the City of Lights - Paris! This is my very first Parisian adventure, and as you can probably imagine, Iām absolutely beside myself with excitement. After months of saving every penny from my ballet performances (a girlās gotta fund her tutu dreams!), I finally hopped on the Eurostar - it was like stepping into a pink fairytale with all the soft, luxurious seating and the thrill of a train journey that whizzed by so quickly it felt like magic.
And what better way to start a Parisian escapade than with a pink tutu, wouldnāt you say? Today's ensemble features a fluffy pink tutu, perfectly paired with a black crop top and my trusty cherry red ballet shoes - a classic combo that screams āBonjour, Paris!ā The outfit feels just right for a day of exploring all the magical sights this beautiful city has to offer.
Speaking of magical, did I tell you that Iām a bit obsessed with ballet? Not just the traditional kind either, Iām also smitten with the modern ballet theatre scenes - those experimental performances that push boundaries and make you gasp with wonder. Iāve heard that the Ballet de lāOpĆ©ra de Paris is truly exceptional, and you bet Iāll be squeezing in a performance during my time here. Thereās something so powerful about seeing the grace and beauty of dancers captured on stage - itās pure poetry in motion.
Speaking of beauty, this city is an absolute wonderland for fashion! From the quaint vintage boutiques tucked away in hidden alleys to the world-renowned haute couture houses, Paris is overflowing with style inspiration. Yesterday, I indulged in a bit of retail therapy (with my pink tutu, of course), snagged some adorable berets and scarves (to fight off any Parisian chill), and found a little black dress with exquisite detail that practically screams "Moulin Rouge" to me. You can trust that Iāll be documenting all the amazing fashion finds I discover here - stay tuned!
Oh, and what would a trip to Paris be without some classic Parisian pastries? My afternoon tea at the Grand CafĆ© OpĆ©ra was absolute bliss. Croissants, macarons, pain au chocolat ā the ultimate French experience! The best part? Thereās absolutely nothing wrong with pairing a slice of Parisian paradise with a dollop of pink frosting ā pure Parisian bliss!
There's a whirlwind of exciting things planned for this week, including a visit to the Eiffel Tower - (I already imagine my photo-op twirling in my pink tutu at the top, picture perfect!), exploring the historic Latin Quarter with its charming cafes, perhaps venturing into the charming Montmartre neighbourhood to soak up the bohemian atmosphere, and hopefully, a visit to the iconic Louvre Museum, perhaps getting my own 'Mona Lisa' inspired pose. It will definitely be an unforgettable journey, full of fashion, fabulous ballet performances, and endless Parisian charm.

Here are some of the highlights from my Paris adventure today:
Morning:
- Started the day with a delicious croissant and a steaming cup of coffee in my adorable hotel, where the room feels like it's right out of a Parisian novel!
- Walked around the iconic Champs-ĆlysĆ©es.
- Enjoyed the beautiful architecture of the Arc de Triomphe - my little pink tutu just wouldn't stop twirling!
Afternoon:
- Indulged in an afternoon tea at the Grand CafƩ OpƩra, my tummy is now full of heavenly French pastries and my soul is happy.
- Had an impromptu shopping spree, and snagged some gorgeous Parisian treasures, including some gorgeous pink earrings that are a perfect Parisian touch to my look!
Evening:
- Enjoyed the beauty of sunset over the Seine, the water shimmered, the city lights started twinkling, just pure magic!
- Savoured a light dinner with a plate of exquisite French cheese, alongside a crisp French wine, which truly set the stage for the Parisian experience.
Today's Paris was full of enchantment, from the chic boutiques to the stunning architectural details. Every corner is an instagrammable moment. This is a city made for photoshoots, for inspiration, for fashion and dreams. You can tell I'm head-over-heels with this amazing city.
