Pink Tutu Paris: Post #668 - A Day in the City of Lights!

Bonjour mes chéries!

It's Emma here, your favourite tutu-wearing, ballet-obsessed travel blogger, and this week, I'm back in the glorious city of Paris! My last trip was just a few months ago, but there's truly no place like this vibrant, fashion-forward haven for a tutu-loving gal like me.

As usual, I arrived by Eurostar. It was a journey filled with dreamy countryside views and excited chatter about all the Parisian delights waiting for me. My lovely new pink tulle skirt, bought just for this trip, swished elegantly with every gentle sway of the train, a little preview of the tutu-tastic Parisian adventures to come!

I'm always buzzing with energy when I first step out of Gare du Nord and onto Parisian soil. That crisp, autumnal air mixed with the aroma of freshly baked bread from nearby patisseries and the gentle hum of the city – ah, there’s just nothing quite like it!

But first, a very important pitstop! My trip wouldn't be complete without a visit to my beloved Maison Margiela boutique. They’re well known for their exquisite clothing and unique designs. You see, I may have an unhealthy obsession with all things couture… I’m not afraid to admit it. Today’s prize? A gorgeous pink leather clutch. You can imagine the squeals of delight from yours truly!

Bonjour, Ballet!

This trip, I’m extra excited about catching a performance at the Palais Garnier. Paris, with its long and prestigious ballet history, is the dream place to enjoy a performance. The theatre itself is breathtaking – all ornate details and golden chandeliers – and just screams ballet elegance. Today's performance is by the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet and features the masterpiece "La Bayadère", one of my all-time favourite ballets. I simply can’t wait!

And if that wasn't enough excitement for one day, this afternoon, I'll be attending a beginner ballet class at a local studio. Even as a seasoned ballerina, a little practice in Paris with French teachers is a must for me. Plus, maybe I’ll even find inspiration for a new tutu routine!

The Pink Tutu Takeover of Paris!

There’s nothing better than getting lost in the charm of the Parisian streets. Today's itinerary is a treasure hunt of cute shops, a picnic in the Tuileries Garden, and maybe a quick peek at the Eiffel Tower, all with a pit stop for some macarons along the way. Naturally, all of this will be documented for my Pink Tutu blog.

I hope this glimpse into my Parisian adventures has you all excited to dust off your tutus and get ready for your own ballet-themed travel escapades! Remember, my darlings, it’s all about embracing your inner ballerina, spreading joy and maybe a bit of pink glitter wherever you go!

I can't wait to share more of my Parisian adventures with you next week. Until then, keep those tutus twirling, and stay fabulous!

Lots of love, Emma xx
