Hello darlings! It’s Saturday, which means it’s time for a brand new Pink Tutu Blog post, straight from the magical city of Paris! 🇫🇷 I’m so thrilled to be sharing my Parisian adventures with you all. It’s a whirlwind of croissants, couture, and, of course, a whole lot of pink!
The EuroStar: A Speedy Voyage
This week's trip was a super-quick jaunt via the Eurostar, a fabulous train ride through the Channel Tunnel! The carriages are comfy and stylish, perfect for catching up on a good book (or maybe even perfecting your arabesque!) 🚄 My journey to Paris was just an hour and a half! It's such a convenient and comfortable way to travel, and the scenery through the French countryside is absolutely stunning.
Parisian Elegance: From Fashion to Food
The second I arrived, I felt a wave of Parisian chic. My heart started to flutter - so many stylish boutiques! I felt a powerful urge to grab my pink tutu and twirl down the Champs-Élysées, and let me tell you, darling, you can twirl in anything in Paris! It's all about feeling fabulous.
For starters, let's talk about the shopping! The French know how to do retail, my dears. So many exquisite vintage shops and fabulous boutiques - I even spotted a charming tutu shop! I bought a darling, pastel pink ballerina scarf with delicate ribbons. It's perfect for adding a little bit of sparkle to my Parisian outfits. ✨ I'm also loving the chic cafés, buzzing with a mix of locals and tourists - everyone looks effortlessly put-together, sipping their coffees and enjoying delectable pastries.
Oh là là! - It's Ballet Time!
Of course, no Parisian trip would be complete without a visit to the theatre! Tonight, I'm attending a dazzling performance at the Opéra Garnier - it's a truly majestic building, dripping with gilded chandeliers and architectural extravagance. Tonight's performance is a rendition of "Giselle," my all-time favourite. I can hardly contain my excitement.
Pink Tutu on the Promenade
The sun is out today, making Paris sparkle like a diamond. And when the sun's out, you know what that means, right? ☀️ Pink Tutu time! I took a lovely stroll along the banks of the Seine today, basking in the Parisian sunshine and the views of Notre Dame. My vibrant pink tutu looked particularly striking against the backdrop of the historical buildings, adding a pop of whimsy to the elegant surroundings. 🌸
