Bonjour mes chéries! 🇫🇷 It's Saturday, and you know what that means... it's time for another Pink Tutu Blog Paris post! 🎀 This week, I'm whisking you all away to the City of Lights, the ultimate destination for any tutu-loving fashionista: Paris!
I'm currently ensconced in a darling little hotel room just off the Champs-Élysées, and let me tell you, it's even more charming in real life than in the pictures. Pink, of course, features prominently in the decor - you wouldn't catch me staying anywhere else! 💖 The views from my window are incredible; the Eiffel Tower peeking through the rooftops and a flurry of Parisian life happening below - I could stare out here all day.
I arrived last night, and let me tell you, travelling by Eurostar is pure bliss. I boarded in London feeling a bit apprehensive, not knowing what to expect, but it was a joy from the very start! It was a comfortable, efficient journey, and the little cabin attendant brought me a hot cup of tea which was simply delightful. Plus, you can see the scenery whizz by as you go - countryside to the sea, and then suddenly, voilà, you're in Paris! 🇫🇷
Speaking of journeys, did I mention I'm in Paris thanks to a rather successful ballet performance back in Derbyshire? You see, this pink tutu girl has to keep busy, and this time it was an elegant Swan Lake for the local gala! The tickets sold out in record time, and that lovely audience paid for this amazing Parisian escapade! 🦢
As I sit here typing away, my day is already starting to fill up with a whirlwind of fabulous activities - and let me tell you, I wouldn't have it any other way! After all, this is Paris, the city of romance, culture, and fashion! I plan to take in the Parisian ballet scene today - maybe the Opera Garnier, or perhaps the Palais Garnier. I just love how these theatres ooze so much history and elegance - and not to mention the fabulous ballerinas! You really can’t beat seeing an exceptional live show in such incredible surroundings! 💖🩰
After the performance, it’s time to go shopping! Paris is, of course, a shopping paradise. It's just bursting at the seams with all the chicest boutiques, shops and street markets. You're bound to find that perfect outfit for that special occasion, and maybe even snag yourself some gorgeous shoes for a fantastic ballet performance! Oh, and let's not forget the Parisian pâtisseries. Imagine my joy, being able to eat the most delicious pastries in the most glamorous Parisian settings!
As much as I love all that Paris has to offer, there’s one thing that is always close to my heart: dancing! Not just ballet dancing, but every type! From the classical elegance of ballet, to the rhythmic passion of street dance, there’s just so much to explore here. Later, I plan to take a class - and this is definitely something I’ll be blogging about tomorrow. 💃
This city inspires creativity at every corner, and I'm just so excited to see what artistic adventures this Parisian sojourn brings. You can be sure I'll be taking as many pictures as I can, capturing every Parisian moment - every gorgeous outfit, every delicious Parisian pastry and all the magnificent buildings.
