Pink Tutu Blog: Paris - Post #767

Bonjour, mes amies!

It's Saturday again, and that can only mean one thing... it's time for another Pink Tutu Blog post! I'm so excited to share all the Paris adventures from this week with you all!

Last Saturday, I woke up feeling the unmistakable pull of the City of Lights, so I booked myself a spontaneous Eurostar journey. I absolutely adore train journeys. There's something so glamorous and liberating about speeding across Europe, surrounded by landscapes changing at a breakneck pace. Plus, it’s the perfect excuse to wear a ridiculously sparkly pink tutu and knee-high pink boots with matching pink beret – it's all about embracing the inner ballerina!

As soon as I stepped onto the platform at Gare du Nord, Paris swept me up in its magical embrace. The air was thick with the smell of croissants and cafe au lait, the sound of charming chatter filled the streets, and everywhere I looked, there were beautiful Parisian women, effortlessly chic in their Parisian flair.

I spent the rest of the day exploring the cobbled streets, letting myself be drawn by the enchanting aromas of pastries and the inviting charm of hidden alleyways. I felt a familiar flutter of excitement, a sense of belonging in this magical city, like a swan finally returning to its elegant pond.

Of course, a trip to Paris wouldn't be complete without a spot of ballet. I went to see the most incredible production of Swan Lake at the Opera Garnier, with costumes that would make even the most jaded fashionista weep. The sheer grace and elegance of the dancers, their shimmering tutus and perfectly-timed pirouettes, were truly awe-inspiring. I swear, I almost felt myself taking to the stage myself – the ballerina spirit was strong within me!

My days were a whirlwind of sightseeing and pampering. The Louvre, with its iconic Mona Lisa, took my breath away, the Eiffel Tower shimmered under the evening sky, and a delicious macaroon in a Parisian patisserie became a daily ritual.

I indulged my inner shopaholic in the grand department stores, finding the most fabulous accessories for my upcoming performance at the Royal Albert Hall, and treated myself to a beautiful scarf to remind me of this magical trip.

This week's inspiration, darling, comes from the chic Parisian style – so effortlessly elegant, always with a touch of the whimsical. It's a delicate balance of structured elegance and playful femininity. Just like the Parisian women who inspired me, my style leans into the feminine, celebrating my curves and celebrating all things pink. Think vintage Dior with a sprinkle of vintage couture thrown in. A hint of sass mixed with timeless Parisian glamour. And who knows? Maybe a pink tutu peeking from beneath a structured blazer.

One of my biggest goals in life is to bring the magic of the ballet, and the pink tutu, to as many people as possible. Maybe you're inspired by this trip to break out of your comfort zone, maybe you’re feeling a bit bolder now! Just like those stunning dancers in Paris, we all have the potential to radiate elegance, grace, and even a little bit of sparkle. Don't be afraid to embrace your inner ballerina – it's waiting to be unleashed!

Don't forget to check out my Pink Tutu website for upcoming performances and to follow my ballet journey! Until next Saturday, chérie!

Bisous!
