Bonjour from Paris! - Pink Tutu Blog - Post 821

Hello, darlings! Emma here, your resident pink tutu enthusiast, writing to you live from the City of Lights! Yes, I'm in Paris! Can you believe it? It’s just so chic and enchanting, and the Eiffel Tower? Absolutely breathtaking!

This trip has been a whirlwind of excitement, from the moment I boarded the EuroStar train. I must admit, I do adore train travel. The journey is part of the adventure, you know? Plus, you can get really glammed up for a long journey!

I wore my blush pink lace dress with a cute matching headband for the trip, and of course, I paired it with a sparkling pink tulle tutu – I’m not afraid to rock it, wherever I am. 😉 And let's not forget about my darling ballet flats. They’re the most comfy travel shoes, especially for walking all over Paris.

But enough about me – let's get down to the Parisian business at hand.

My Pink-Tinted Paris Itinerary

I landed in Paris this morning and my schedule is packed with fun things. It's a whirlwind of ballet, fashion, and delicious French food! Here's a glimpse into what's on the agenda for the weekend:

Saturday:

  • Morning: We're starting the day with a private ballet class at École de Danse Française. It's my first time dancing in Paris! The teacher, Madame DuBois, is a retired star of the Opéra Garnier, can you believe it? I'm just so thrilled to be learning from someone with such amazing experience! I can't wait to perfect my arabesques and learn a few new moves from a French ballerina.
  • Afternoon: After ballet class, we're heading to Les Galeries Lafayette. I have been looking forward to this for months! I have a list of designers I absolutely must see, from Chanel to Dior. It's the perfect excuse to indulge my fashionista heart.
  • Evening: And for a special treat, we’re attending the Grand Opera at Palais Garnier this evening! The beautiful chandelier is already an iconic symbol of the city for me. The performance is Romeo and Juliet. I've always been a big fan of Tchaikovsky, and this is my first time seeing it in Paris. What a magical night!

Sunday:

  • Morning: I have breakfast in the café of my charming little hotel. The buttery croissants are divine, just like everyone told me. I adore how the Parisian ladies dress in their chic Parisian looks, even just for a coffee.
  • Afternoon: We’re taking a picnic by the Seine. I love a good picnic and the views from the banks of the Seine are going to be perfect for a quick snap for my Instagram feed. We’ll enjoy delicious baguette, cheese and red wine, a quintessential French picnic!
  • Evening: I plan on enjoying dinner and an evening show at Le Moulin Rouge. A Parisian cabaret show is essential for any trip, right? Plus, it'll give me the perfect excuse to wear a fabulous red and black feather boa. And hopefully some glitzy dancing too! I'm a bit excited to go into the city at night, as my ballet classes often happen in the evenings, so it will be an adventure for sure.

I know my week will be filled with amazing ballet performances, exploring charming boutiques, and savouring the delightful Parisian atmosphere. And of course, I’ll be keeping you updated on my pink tutu escapades!

Parisian Dreams, Pink Tutu Fashion

Paris, you know, has such a special place in my heart. Maybe it’s the gorgeous architecture, the romantic ambiance, the history – it all makes me want to twirl! The fashion in Paris is just exquisite, and it definitely inspires my own style. Every shop I walk past I spot a cute scarf, an elegant bag, or the perfect vintage piece for my collection.

I’m already finding a million ideas for new blog posts! Think, "How to Embrace your Inner Parisienne", "French Fashion Inspiration", and “The Ultimate Pink Tutu Paris Packing Guide”. I’ve even picked up a cute beret to add to my ensemble - maybe I’ll incorporate that into a "Parisian-Inspired Tutu Style” outfit post next week. I think that would look so chic.

And let's talk about pink tutus for a moment. This vibrant shade of pink, paired with the playful whimsy of a tutu, is a winning combination, even in the chic streets of Paris. As I walked by the Louvre today, I spotted a lady sporting a stunning pink tutu as a statement piece with a black blazer. And you know what? It looked absolutely fabulous! I believe that every woman, regardless of age, shape, or location, deserves to feel confident and beautiful in her own style.

It's all about embracing your unique flair, expressing yourself freely, and reminding yourself that you are beautiful.

My mission to encourage the world to wear pink tutus is growing stronger with every city I visit. This vibrant colour holds such a magical energy!

Finding the Inspiration in Everything

So far, I'm in love with this city! It's so inspiring! I feel so lucky to be able to travel and share these incredible experiences with you. My trips are funded entirely by my ballet performances, so if you see a little dancer in a pink tutu in your area, you'll know that's probably me, haha!

Now I must go. The Parisian evening calls for an exciting night. Be sure to follow me on Instagram for even more photos and stories! @EmmaPinkTutu – You know I always love a good story and picture!

Sending love and pink tutus!

Bisous!

Emma
