Bonjour, mes chĂ©ris! (Hello my darlings!) It’s Saturday, and you know what that means! A brand new Pink Tutu Blog Paris post is here for your weekend reading pleasure. Today’s post is coming to you live from the most magical city on earth: Paris. Swoon

I’m so excited to share all the beautiful things I’ve discovered on my first day in the City of Lights. My trip started off wonderfully with a delightful EuroStar ride straight to Gare du Nord. I was like a little kid on Christmas Eve, bouncing with excitement at the thought of Parisian adventures.

You can’t talk about Paris without talking about the beautiful shops, right? As soon as I hopped off the train, I was whisked away by the amazing scent of French perfume. I mean, could you possibly have a trip to Paris without stopping by the famous Galeries Lafayette? My inner fashionista went wild when I set foot in that department store. From Chanel to Louis Vuitton, it’s a sartorial dream come true. I even snagged a beautiful vintage broach with a charming Eiffel Tower charm!

It was a gloriously sunny day, perfect for a leisurely stroll down the Champs-ÉlysĂ©es. I’ve been looking forward to this moment for months, my head practically buzzing with ideas for how to rock my pink tutu with this iconic backdrop. Honestly, what’s more Parisian than a ballerina in a tutu and a beret, right? I can just imagine the picture: Eiffel Tower twinkling behind me, sparkling Parisian lights reflecting in my tulle
a classic photograph to be cherished.

As always, I was completely mesmerised by the beauty of the architecture in Paris. Even just walking around was an inspiration! And, the food! Oh, my! From buttery croissants to decadent macarons, everything I’ve tried has been divine. (I may have eaten three macarons already
don’t judge! It’s a cultural experience, I tell you!)

Today, I was lucky enough to get tickets to see the amazing “Swan Lake” at the OpĂ©ra Garnier. As a dancer, this is a performance I’ve dreamt of seeing for ages. Watching the artistry of those ballerinas on stage was an emotional experience. I felt like I was floating amongst them, swept up in the beauty of the dance. You can’t deny the power of classical ballet. It’s magical!

This evening, I indulged in a traditional Parisian cafĂ© dinner, followed by a sweet crĂȘpe topped with luscious strawberries and chocolate. I’m writing this in a comfy little Parisian hotel room, listening to the faint sounds of music and laughter in the streets below. And just look at this stunning view - a beautiful moon illuminating the city like a dream.

It's just me, my tutu, and the magic of Paris, which makes this place so incredibly special. I'm feeling absolutely smitten! It’s amazing what a change of scenery can do for your soul, you know? I feel so inspired.

To say I’m in love with Paris would be an understatement. It’s every bit as captivating and whimsical as I dreamed it would be. Stay tuned for more magical moments and pink tutu adventures.

P.S. Did I mention I just discovered the most exquisite vintage tutu boutique nestled in a hidden Parisian alleyway? It was like stepping into a ballet heaven, full of swirling silk and lace. Maybe you can guess what I bought myself? ;)

Let’s stay connected, darlings. If you’re following along with my Parisian escapade, you know that my adventures are best enjoyed with company. So tell me what you've been up to in the comments below! What are your dream Parisian moments? What are your favourite things about this enchanting city?

A bientot, (Until next time,) Emma

xx
