Bonjour mes chères amies! The City of Lights has cast its spell, and I'm completely smitten! I’ve just stepped off the Eurostar – oh, I just love a train journey! - and I'm already dreaming of the next performance, the perfect pink Parisian frock, and a delicate éclair to sweeten the deal.

You've probably guessed, darling, but this trip is all about a little self-indulgence. It's my birthday month, and what better way to celebrate than to take a solo ballet adventure in Paris? This week's packed with everything my heart desires: a Parisian ballet performance of "Giselle," an appointment at the exquisite La Maison du Tutu for some fabulous pink tulle (which, if you haven't yet discovered this incredible store, you must!), and a delightful rendezvous at the Musée Carnavalet to lose myself in the history of fashion. Oh la la, it’s a ballet blogger’s dream come true!

This week, my "Pink Tutu Blog Paris" feels more than usually effervescent. There’s something so magical about being in a city steeped in culture and beauty. And, as always, the thrill of wearing my beloved pink tutu while I explore is irresistible!

First, a confession – my luggage is a riot of pink! Every shade, every texture, a celebration of everything I adore about this colour! It was a tough choice, but I had to pick a special pink tulle skirt to make its grand debut at La Maison du Tutu, that Parisian haven of tulle and all things twirly. Imagine, dear reader, walls lined with tulle in every colour imaginable, bobbins of thread and sewing machines whirring, and the most beautiful ballet costumes you could dream of – La Maison du Tutu is a must-visit for any tutu enthusiast. And just you wait! I'm going to take a few très pink selfies, because these tutu tales have to be documented, darling!

You just know when I'm in Paris, the ballet is top of my agenda! Tonight's treat? Giselle at the iconic Opéra Garnier. The music, the dancers, the sheer artistry - it’s utterly captivating! And, just for fun, I've even prepped a perfectly pink ballet outfit to compliment the ethereal atmosphere of Giselle. Think elegant ballet flats, a dainty pearl necklace, and, of course, my trusty pink tutu. What could be more perfect for experiencing a ballet legend like Giselle?

Of course, any Parisian adventure would be incomplete without a visit to a few chic boutiques. Today, The Rue Saint Honoré beckons. I’m absolutely thrilled to have unearthed a boutique tucked away that specialises in antique couture, a real hidden gem of a Parisian secret. The exquisite textures and impeccable tailoring are something to behold. My eyes wandered from one incredible frock to the next, my heart fluttering at the thought of pairing each one with a pink tutu. I’m dreaming of finding the perfect Parisian dress to complete my next “pink tutu adventure” .

It’s a given that a ballet-loving, fashion-obsessed girl like myself wouldn't miss a chance to dive into the world of the Musée Carnavalet . The stories of the city's fashion through the centuries are simply fascinating! It’s an absolute feast for the senses, full of opulent gowns, grand jewellery, and those delightful glimpses of everyday French fashion through the years. Just as important as the historical exhibits are the exhibitions of modern French fashion! This is the city, darling, where a sense of history, style, and artistic sensibility are truly blended in a way that I'm absolutely smitten with.

Paris really is a dream in shades of pink. It’s a city of blushing buildings, pink-hued pastries, and streets lined with blooming roses. The magic of this place inspires a yearning for all things pastel, especially pink! My wish is to spread this love of pink across the city, to encourage the locals, and every visitor, to embrace the joy of pink in their wardrobes!
